Good point. Unfortunately people do not remember that there was once a time (the 60's, 70's and early-80's) when pop singers were actually artistes - when some of them like Yoko Ono, Laurie Anderson,Kate Bush, actually came from art disciplines - and took their art seriously. I feel sorry for the very young who were not around at those times, or have no interest in exploring pop culture history. Or maybe it is better they never realize how much they are missing, no, being denied.
