Miss Cali Claims She Was 'Biblically Correct'

Sure, she alienated the gay and lesbian audience and probably lost the crown by saying "Marriage should only be between a man and a woman," but Miss USA loser Carrie Prejean has no regrets.

Carrie Prejean: Click to watch
Matt Lauer gave Carrie a second chance to answer the controversial question this morning on "Today." Her answer: "The way that I answered might have been offensive ... but for me, it was being biblically correct."

61. There r so many fake people out there that will say wat ever they think people want to hear, or anything to make them popular, I enjoy the fact that she is standing by wat she said no matter who has an issue w it. She did say it may offend people but this is was I THINK

63. I think everyone has a right to their opinion but there are two discussions here. God and the Bible do say homosexual acts are wrong, and the natural order also suggests that since they cannot reproduce the act is unnatural. Now if it is truly SINFUL in God's eyes is God's decision so I defer to His judgement and not judge them for myself. I don't care either way but if I have to VOTE on the issue then after much consideration I beleive that yes it is wrong and no their should not be gay marriage. But what people do on their own time is none of my business and besides I like a lot of gay people and want them to be happy. Perez on the other hand is trying to intimidate and persecute this woman for her views and that makes me just fly to her defence all the more and I think it is showing the gay community in a very unsympathetic light. I wonder how the rest of the finalists would have answered if given the same question it wasn't equal as that was definitely the most polarizing question.

64. IF SHE DOESN'T REGRET HER ANSWER, THEN SHE SHOULD BOW OUT GRACEFULLY. EVEN IF HER PROBLEM WAS WITH THE QUESTION, SHE IS SHOWING HER TRUE COLORS BY SELFISHLY TAKING THE SPOTLIGHT AWAY FROM THE ACTUAL WINNER. AND ALTHOUGH I AGREE THAT SHE HAS THE RIGHT TO BELIEVE IN "A MAN AND A WOMAN ONLY", THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE SAID IN HER ANSWER. SHE SAID THAT SHE BELIEVES THAT IN HER "COUNTRY" AND IN HER HOME THAT MARRIAGE SHOULD BE BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN. THOUGH I DON'T AGREE MAYBE SHE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO THINK ABOUT THE CORE AUDIENCE OF THE SHOW. I DON'T THINK TOO MANY STRAIGHT MEN EVEN KNEW THE SHOW WAS ON, LET ALONE TOOK THE TIME TO WATCH.

67. I just want to say that we all have our opinions and that are entire to them and I do respect that, but that way that she presented herself was not right. I felt offended and disgusted by it and I think she is resit BITCH! and that I'm so ashamed that she is from California. But she is a patent LOSER and stupid. And resit C*****

Just me.

69. You can exercise your right to free speech anytime you want but have to be prepared to live with the consequences.
That's what happened here.

70. You go girl. Screw Perez Hilton. He's a mean-spirited, hateful person.

71. 10. As a gay person I am completely appalled at the way this woman is being treated. The way the gay community, more specifically Perez Hilton, is treating her, is setting us BACK. This is the kind of behavior the public finds revolting. This woman was asked a question, and she gave her honest opinion. It's that simple. I 100% respect her for that. Right now, I am embarrassed that we have Perez speaking for us. Will an honest, intelligent gay person in the spotlight please step up? PLEASE! This is nothing but damaging for us.

I, as a Christian woman, am so happy to hear that not all gay people are bashing this girl for being honest. I am upset about the way everyone is taking this and the way Perez Hilton acted like a big baby. It's so sad that he is even allowed to be a judge or that the queston was even allowed to be asked. #8 Shawn, she is not wrong for walking around in a bathing suit! She may be a Christian, but she is not a nun! If this is what she chooses to do with her life who are we to judge the decisions she makes. She is the one that will have to answer for her own actions. I don't see that she is doing anything wrong. She is holding up to her morals and beliefs. She is a beautiful woman who is smart and confident. You just know tha you could never hold a candle to her!

72. Yeah Tyrone, blacks really stick with those CIVIL RIGHTS causes, right? Does that explain why over 70% of blacks in CA voted AGAINST gay marriage? See, even the moronic leftists don't know their own base!! BAWHAHAHAHHAHAHAA!!!

Her career is just fine since the majority of people, overwhelmingly, oppose game marriage. Try again douchebag.

73. WHO CARES???? LET THIS STORY DIE. SHE HAS A RIGHT TO HER OPINION. SHE LOST. BYE...

74. Totally agree with the folks who feel Perez has blown this out of proportion. Way too frequently he uses his site to try to manipulate the public opinion. Lately, I have been avoiding his site after reading remarks he made to another blogger about how much more traffic his site gets. If that will make his form of bigotry go away, I will make sure he doesn't get any support from me!

75. I too believe marriage is to be between a man and a woman, NOT 2 men or 2 women! Stop shoving their livestyle down out throat. If you want to be gay, go ahead and be gay, but dont force me to accept it. Man's law means nothing to me, its God's law that counts, and for those of you who wants to attack me for living by God's words, go ahead, cause that won't phase me, HE said, not to force HIS words on anyone. I feel sorry for you sick ppl, hell, why dont you all go and legalize everything that is unlawful and wrong, you are all on that path any damn way.
