Jag Legend Booked on Multiple Drug Charges

Jimmy Smith Former Jacksonville Jaguar superstar Jimmy Smith has just been booked into a J-Ville detention facility on a slew of charges -- including 2 felony and 2 misdemeanor drug charges.

Smith -- who was arrested early this afternoon after being pulled over in Jacksonville -- was booked for felony possession of cocaine, possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. Smith was also charged with "felony possession/sell of a controlled substance."

Smith is being held on $5006.00 bond at the John E. Goode Pretrial Detention Facility in downtown J-Ville.

18. The sad thing is that he has kids. I know this because when my wife was pregnant with our firzt son, Jimmy was sitting beside me in the waiting room of the doctors office. His wife was also pregnant and we chatted briefly. The next year he was busted for cocaine possession and DUI. What a shame he can't get his act together.

24. My heart goes out to the family of Jimmy. We all have our opinions of him, but we must realize that everyone has problems. Celebrities problems are put out into the open. We must be careful of what we write because he does have a family that this is affecting.

26. The extra $6 is standard. In Jacksonville, it is, at least. I live here. From my understanding, the $6 goes into the judges' retirement fund or account. Every bail will have an extra fewd dollars added on.
