6. Classic Sexism,

If she made three times more than him he could request alimony, correct?
If there is no prenup he could ask for it and use the money to hire a pr firm to help undo the damage her people have caused him.
If there is a prenup he could challenge it like people often do.
I feel sure someone is trying to make him look bad besides himself.

He could take the abuse or drag the divorce out, ask for alimony and legal fees etc., etc.

12. Given Alex's lawyer has said he expects him to settle, I think the penny may have finally dropped that he won't be winning.

Good on Kate for letting her lawyer battle it out, pity Alex couldn't leave it to his lawyers and instead resorted to such childish abusive behavior to get a protective order slapped on him. Bitter ex-husbands are always jealous when their ex earns more than triple their earnings.

15. They were married when they bought the house in '07? If no prenup, California law says they split 50/50. If she's living in the house, paying the mortgage payment, 50/50 up to the date they separated. If they have equity in the house in a down market, he gets half of what the house if worth now. If no equity they both take a loss if sold to someone else.
