Taylor Swift Puts Motorists in a Jam

Cops sealed off traffic in all directions ... they blasted their sirens to clear a path ... they forced hundreds of frustrated drivers into horrible gridlock -- all so Taylor Swift could get to the airport on time.

While the students at Bishop Ireton High School in Virginia were thrilled that she showed up to their school, the people stuck in the wake of her traffic-stopping motorcade were pissed -- honking, yelling and even getting out of their cars to check on the hold up. And they weren't too happy when they found out who was behind the delay.

Swift was en route to Dulles Airport -- where she boarded a private jet! Talk about Presidential treatment.

UPDATE: According to Britney Spears' Twitter, Taylor Swift was at her Chicago show. That's right, girl got a police escort to the airport so she could make it to Britney's concert. Sound familiar?

25. So what about the people sitting in traffic, I am sure a few of them were trying to get to the airport as well. And I am willing to bet they were flying commercial where the plane is not going to wait for them like her private jet will. Guess it goes to show you that none of us are as important as someone who makes millions of dollars singing. I hope they redirect all the swine flu vaccines to celebs because if something happened to them we would all be lost, life on earth would cease to exist!

26. I don't care who it is, unless you're the president/queen/pope/mother teresa the cops shouldn't be there clearing the way. If she really needs to get to the airport she should arrive three hours early like the rest of us have to to check in her luggage which she has ppl for that and relax is the private lounges and get on her first class flight!
