Hugh Jackman Drops $4300 on Breakfast

Hugh Jackman knows the best way to a fan's heart is through his or her stomach -- that's why he dropped $4308.87 to stuff 800 faces in Arizona.

Hugh Jackman

TMZ has obtained the receipt from Paradise Bakery in Tempe, Arizona -- where Jackman bought 67 breakfast trays and 80 gallons of coffee for a pack of "Wolverine" fans who had camped out in front of a theater the day before Monday's big premiere.

Once Jackman heard about the fans, he promised to buy them breakfast and placed the order late Sunday. We're told Jackman wanted to keep the food order simple and bought platters of bagels, muffins, and croissants.

No word if Jackman left a tip -- we're gonna assume he did ... 'cause he can do no wrong.

Good thing Gem here is obviously being facetious; if he/she were serious, then he/she would be the stupidest person on planet earth, and that title is already claimed by paris hilton.

Given how many arrogant, brain dead creeps live in hollywood (are you hearing me, pearASS, WHOREhan, SLUTney etc), It's really nice to see a truly good person not only succeding, but also taking his fans with him. He's a total class act, and it's truly too bad that there aren't a lot more like him.

What a silly comment. He didn't have to do anything for anyone, but he took care of some of his fans. AND, he did it without trying to get publicity for it. I'd say anytime a celebrity shows this much heart & class, especially given what idiots & jerks most celebrities are, it IS real news.

70. I dont think he realizes how big he is now. I just hope he never gets like other BIG stars and stops being so nice. He acts like hes trying to promote himself, like he needs it. Stay like this for ever and ever Hugh.

72. Thank you Hugh Jackman, and all the cast, who attended the premiere in Arizona this past Monday. It was a huge success.

I've attended premieres in L.A. before, and while there is usually a good turnout and response, it also seems that some in attendance are a bit jaded. There is nothing unique or different about holding yet another premiere in Los Angeles.

On the other hand, the "X-Men: Wolverine" premiere was incredible. There were several thousand excited, screaming fans in attendance - many camped out overnight to be there. What happened in Arizona was a true EVENT.

Great job!
