The mother of New York Yankee pitcher Joba Chamberlain has been arrested for allegedly slinging hardcore drugs to an undercover cop.
Jacqueline Standley was popped at her Lincoln, Neb. apartment on Saturday night after allegedly selling ".6 gram of methamphetamine in a plastic bag" to a cop for $110 back in February.
Once toxicology reports came back from the lab, Standley was arrested and charged with delivery of an exceptionally hazardous drug -- a felony -- and bond was set at $5000.
Just last month Joba was sentenced to nine months probation after pleading guilty to DUI.
Like mother, like son.

A little harsh don't ya think?
While driving while intoxicated is irresponsible and risky behavior, it in no way compares to dealing drugs.
The guy deserves a chance to make amends for his obvious error in judgment without being tossed in the same
cart as his drug dealing mother.
I'd love to see the criminal and/or driving records of all the TMZ staff to see if their records allow them to be so
judgmental for a DUI.

So what is he is a hell of a pitcher! D U I - That makes it "OK" to *not* be a role model for all the kids and teenagers that admire him? People in this world are so messed up these days. A zillion people would love to have the salary that piece of crap makes and trust me, would do anything like get behind the wheel after drinking. Joba could easily affford a limo or a cab. I guess if he was driving under the influence and killed someone, because he has a great knuckleball we should disallow Joba the oppurtunity to meet gay rod types in jail for some good "bitch tit" suckling.
