Joba Chamberlain's Mom -- Alleged Meth Dealer

Joba Chamberlain's mom The mother of New York Yankee pitcher Joba Chamberlain has been arrested for allegedly slinging hardcore drugs to an undercover cop.

Jacqueline Standley was popped at her Lincoln, Neb. apartment on Saturday night after allegedly selling ".6 gram of methamphetamine in a plastic bag" to a cop for $110 back in February.

Once toxicology reports came back from the lab, Standley was arrested and charged with delivery of an exceptionally hazardous drug -- a felony -- and bond was set at $5000.

Just last month Joba was sentenced to nine months probation after pleading guilty to DUI.

Like mother, like son.

61. To all the people making comments about Joba and you do not even know him. I do and I am proud of him. Before you call him names and state that his life is like his mothers, you need to know the facts. He was raised by his Dad and he is not the only person that got picked up for DUI. I am not making excuses that was wrong and someone could have been hurt but, to call him names and not put the correct information in from TMZ. Maybe TMZ and the other people who think they can make comments and disrespect him should look at their own backyard and their own family. What goes around comes around remember that when you are being so disrespectful of someone who has come from a broken family. God Bless Joba and he is a Great Person. Watch what you write because it will come back on you and I am only hoping I can be there to say I told you so...

62. Red Sox slap Fat Boy Chamberlain around pretty good. 4 in the first is no way to prevent a sweep. This tub of lard will end up just like his dumpy mother. You know why, because it's in his genetics. He's destined to end up in the gutter. Now the Yankees might realize why many teams avoided drafting this fat gas bag.

65. To Munson Airlines - What are you? You are disrespectful, very stupid and how can you say that about Joba. Do you know him...NO probably not. How has your life been? Never done anything wrong. You deserve to have everyone look at you that knows you and Say....What an idiot. Joba will have a better life than you ever thought of having and the Love and Support from Family and Friends that you probably do not have. So be a hater. No matter how you slice it, who gives a rat's ass if the person comes from a broken home, or a good home. A choice is a choice and by Joba under the influence was his choice.
Look, he messed up the Yankee's real bad yesterday, so bad they are all going to become "bitch tit's" now.

You do not have to like Joba or the Yankee's that is your choice . It was Joba's choice to drive and not the best choice but, at least he is trying to make his life worth something. Maybe you should try. Oh I no you cannot, being the person you are. I guess I would say maybe you should try throwing 12 strikeouts in a game. Oh yeah you cannot even hit a ball. 68. Please getting a DUI is way less severe than being busted for selling methamphetamines. I think that it is a little naive to compare Joba to his mother. Besides, Joba was primarly raised by his father. Just because there are drug problems in your family doesn't automatically mean that you will be a drug abuser. Joba made a mistake that many young men make and he is paying the price. His mom's problems are not his problem!
