31. Nice dress. She looks good. They need to do a little work on their marriage, but these photos with other women articles are blown out of proportion. You can't ever hang out with another woman other than your wife again once you're married?

This is brilliant publicity for the upcoming season (beginning May 25). Coincidence that they're getting all this press now that the show is beginning it's new season (the same way it got so much press for pretty much the same reason, for the season finale)? Hmm. For two months, no sightings of Jon with another woman and now - 3 weeks before the new season, here we go again. I bet they called the media and let them know where Jon was going to be. These "candid photos" are a set up for publicity. Everyone's being played by TLC. Free publicity can't be beat, and that's what they're getting courtesy of all the tabloids and news outlets - even CNN!

Way to promote them. Their audience is bound to grow now, all because of this free publicity.

33. PLEASE! Yes she is too harsh on him most of the time, but does that really give him a free pass to go bar hoppnig with other women?
What about getting professional help or divorce BEFORE you run all over town drinking and having other women drive your car from the bar?
Jon is the one that needs to grow up! Kate is raising those kids and he is out acting like a college kid.

35. Well this couple always generates alot of comments anytime there's an article posted on them. Most people cannot stand her haircut/style, and they think she's mean to Jon. I've watched the show, enough to form an opinion. I would definately classify her as dominate/domineering, organized and way, way overboard when it comes to being a clean freak with her children, ugh, they aren't allowed to mess themselves up with ice cream melting on their clothes, cupcake icing, etc. I'm surprised Mady and Cara were even allowed to take a cooking class together. They receive 1 m and m as a reward for going potty in the potty chair. WOW. Ugh, I didn't reward my daughter with any kind of candy treat, but that's here nor there. I'm equally surprised they got puppies (although I've not seen any episodes of that). Jon is basically pussywhipped. Sure he makes comments, but in the end, ugh, she's the boss, quite clearly. There is nothing equal or remotely equal in that marriage. A man grows tired of being demoralized (just as a woman if it were the opposite) and looks for release elsewhere, whether it be as simple as just hanging out with someone to be able to hold a conversation and be listened to without being interupted or discounted or shot down. She has flattened his self worth, his confidence, his ability to hold a normal conversation with people etc. for fear of what he says just does not matter, so why even bother to say whats on his mind.

I am totally against cheating, along with lying, however, in this instance, I am for Jon seeking out friendship (that does not mean I'm saying or condoning cheating on his wife) to get out and away from Kate and amongst the real world of people (or friends he once had or his colleagues), try to regain his confidence, etc. And stand UP TO HER, put your damn foot down, do not let her continue to dominate you. And if she doesn't like it, and things don't work out, so be it, divorce, joint custody of the kids. Yes, it will be heart wrenching for the kids, it always is, but it will be better than to live a continued lie in front of the children on a daily basis.

36. I just hope that they have the sense to shut down production of the show and retire from reality T.V.
I think it's the only way that they will be able to regain a sense of normalcy and let the kids have a normal childhood.
No one really knows what goes on in a marriage. To be so critical and hateful of Kate and even Maddie is really kind of sick - there is real life and there is what you see on the show.
For all of those rooting for Jon to leave, remember...there are 8 kids involved here, divorce is easy, but will hurt those kids in the long run.

39. Her hair is awful....all the different lengths look terrible! She has changed so much - if you go back and watch the first season - she was so much nicer to Jon AND the kids than in the more recent episodes. She would actually play with them and laugh with them...now all she does is boss him and the kids....and everyone else... around. I have stopped watching the show. Poor kids...
