Working hard at a desk? Jesus. Apparently you've never worked fast food or worked as a field hand. Sitting at a desk is a vacation next to real work where you actually get your hands dirty. God forbid you should break a nail or get your shoes dirty.

Yale? Only pussies go to Yale.

Working on a book is something you do for fun. Go back and read what I said about real work.

Actually, I am working on a book. And it's for fun. Because sitting at a desk all day like a diva is not "work".

I'll repeat it again. You don't have to be Keith Olbermann to be smart. Or interesting. Or fun. Or a decent human being.

I don't know Keith personally. Just see him on t.v. once in awhile.

I've got great self-esteem. I'm not defined by my job, my possessions, or my relationships.

I do lots of productive things. I was so productive I was able to retire at age 38. And it wasn't on inherited money. I work when I want to increase my standard of living. Not bad for someone who grew up in a house with a dirt floor.

As for better things to do, I do a lot of volunteer work. I help people who have lost their homes, kids in the foster care system, orphans, victims of sexual trafficking, people down on their luck.

The last psychologist I met at a party called me "self-actualized". Digest that.

Why do I read the TMZ comments? Because I'm so tired of the lie CNN is slinging about this guy. For a network that's supposed to be keeping them honest, they try to sell a person who's supposed to be a trustworthy journalist as some cheesecake for women. Note the commercial where the woman is looking over her date's shoulder to get a glimpse of Cooper on tv. CNN knows he's gay. Quit with the lies.

Second issue. Quit trying to sell all things gay under the guise of being a straight guy. If Cooper is not proud of his orientation enough to publically declare it, then he should recuse himself from all discussion on homosexuality/Prop 8/ gays in the military etc. It's called conflict of interest and it's subtle manipulation.

Third thing. If this baby is in fact the product of Cooper's sperm (I hesistate to use the word "father", that's reserved for men who actually stick around), then he's a jerk for not publically acknowledging the child and being a parent who is there more than just weekends.

407. i just heard this past week the rumors about ac, but they do not change my mind about his skills as a journalist. it is ashame though, if he is queer, his availability to the female market is closed. i haven't seen many men who look at a baby like this unless there is some kind of close relationship. we should hope he is happy and not change our opinion of him as a master journalist just b/c his choices differ from our own. watching him right now on acc/360, talking w/sheryl crow, now that would make a cute couple. personal lives are just that, personal, and we all need to mind our own.

Somebody's having fun with the Thetan Mapother thing.

A thetan is some Scientology term. Mapother is Tom Cruise's real last name.

In light of Tom's alleged iffy sexual orientation, that joke is damn funny.

Wouldn't surprise me if Anderson's a Scientologist just like Thetan Mapother. They like to mess with people's heads.
