17. I don't waste my time with such nonsense - as in watching your videos like this. And people have already said what I would say also, why not pose the same question to Robbins and Sarandon and Hawn and Russell all long time committed relationships without marriage. Oh yeh, Winfrey and Grahm too. Marriage is not always a necessity, in order to take the vows it should be entered into it and WANTED by both parties, not just one. Sure there are certain benefits to marriage when it comes to tax purposes and yes vows should mean something to both individuals but in the end, a committed relationship is equally important. Vows get broken on a regular basis. Divorce is rabid. And I'm sure the bastard children commenters are going to weigh in, rolls eyes, ugh, I'm pretty certain these particular cases cited above (those with children) have their father's last name, and they support their children, and if they were to break up the relationship, not only would they have to pay child support but their partner would also draw support and property etc. So with that said, it does come down to that old saying, it's pretty much just a piece of paper, and a lot of money spent for a place to get married and the party afterwards.

25. he hasnt put a ring on it, bc he might have to be faithful then. saw him in the elevator at an upscale hotel in stamford, CT in june08 getting touchy feely with another woman. then the large old white body guard remarks quietly "hey- isnt that the guy from entertainment tonight?" i knew who mark was, he just disgusted me.

28. MARK McGRATH is perfectly right not to "settle" down. "Marriage" takes all the life out of the relationship, and then boredom is born. Marriage is out dated and over rated. Mark is ahead of his time. Stick to your guns handsome! Oh yeah, I am a heterosexual woman, and like many men, not all of us want to get tied down, well, maybe tied down, but not married. ; )
