Robert Schimmel's Mug Shot -- A Sticky Situation

31. I bought the book and the guy in the mugshot sure doesn't look like the guy on the cover of the book. The guy in the mugshot looks like HE caught the wipping.I have looked everywhere and have not seen a picture of his wife with a mark on her.Somebody did this to him ... where do self defense and domestic violence part ways. This man has survived cancer and now devotes his life to helping others with cancer. Does anyone posting on this blog know first hand all the facts.Or are we on a witch hunt because it sells papers and boosts pages like this.Until we know everything there is to know shouldn't we give this guy the same benefit we would like extended to ourselves.

33. Alright so I am a neighbor of the two and this girl does pilates and yoga and all sorts of boot camps and Robert barely has the strength to hold himself up - so really???? Looks like something must be off here. And for the record the rumor in our community is she is screwing around behind Roberts back.

34. Poor guy - he helped me through my dads Cancer and I was just at another fundraiser he did. There is no way he could be guilty of this - I just can't believe it is true. And while you should never hit anyone - let alone a woman. It seems like something she must have done was pretty awful to even get the guy to raise his voice. He worships her - she is the reason he got through Cancer.

36. NO WAY JOSE - I can't believe that she could have been the innocent one here when he looks like he took a beating. Why isn't she in jail? And she needs to be. I mean if abuse is wrong isn't it wrong for both parties?

He deserves what he gets...jail time!
He survived cancer? well, what a way to celebrate coming through it.
Smacking the sh*t out of his wife, and abusing her physically and I am sure verbally.
Look at the pathetic band-aid hanging from his face...just for sympathy's sake!

40. I don't think people should jump to conclusions. Absolutely nothing has been proven and I don't think Robert should be judged poorly. Also, just look at him. He looks like he's been banged up! He's a small man and in this picture has some wounds of his own! Let's let Robert have the benefit of the doubt here, and let's not jump to conclusions because of what is "alleged" or because of what a gossip article wants us to believe.

41. I live in LA and I've seen Robert perform. That guy must be no more than 130 pounds. Looks like he's the victim based off the bleeding and damage in the mug shot. I can hardly wait to hear the other side of the story.
