Miss California -- Pants on Fire!

Miss California Carrie Prejean has lied to the pageant that feeds her.

TMZ has obtained an email Carrie sent to Keith Lewis, Co-Executive Director of Miss California USA. The email, sent yesterday, refers to the topless photo of her circulating on the Internet. The email reads: "This was when I was 17 years old. I was a minor. It was when I was first getting into the modeling world, being naive, and young. I shouldnt (sic) have taken the photo of me in my underwear. There are no other photos of me. This was the only one I took."

Carrie is not telling the truth. Last Sunday, someone sent TMZ 4 -- FOUR -- photos of Carrie without her top and in her panties. We did not publish the pics after her rep contacted us and said she was 17 when the pics were taken.

We told Keith Lewis about the 4 photos. His reaction: "I'm absolutely stunned. This completely changes things for us. Yesterday we thought she had explained things accurately. We need to revisit this issue with her."

48. Posing topless (and this pic looks no different than anything I've seen in the Victoria's Secret catalogue) has absolutely NOTHING to do with her answer about gay marriage. Nothing. Marriage should be between a man and a woman. Having one or four (GASP!) pictures taken topless doesn't change that, idiots. She could have very well meant this photo session, not just this one photo. But go ahead and parse away. It's disgusting that you would help crucify this woman with the rest of the left-wing liberal media and the hypocritical Miss USA Pageant. That Pageant might as well tear down the set and go home, because it has lost any credibility it ever had. Maybe they can turn it into a Miss Tranny contest for Perez and the rest of you left-wing liberal hypocrites. Tolerance and acceptance, my a$$.

49. This is what happens. Put the gay marriage question aside for a moment? What if she had won? These pictures would have come out eventually and it would have been another in a long line of Miss Whoevers that had some photos from her past. It would have been a scandal for about two days. Quick, name one other Miss America or Miss USA besides Vanessa Williams? You can't and neither can about 99% of the general public.

She chose to put herself out there by entering pageants knowing full well these photos existed. It doesn't matter if you are this chick or Susan Boyle. Everything you've done before will come to light.

I respect her answer even though I don't agree with it. I respect her right to her opinion. What gets me is this "I'm a Christian...." She wants to cash in on this notoriety and become the next Anita Bryant (Google her). She has a little closet cleaning to do before she can start telling anyone who can and can not do anything.

53. The people behind Miss USA is just mad because Mrs. California (second place winner) is getting MORE press and MORE publicity than the chick ACTUALLY won 1st place. LMAO! Now, they're going on this ALL-OUT-SMEAR-CAMPAIGN!!! No matter what comes up about Carrie's past, I will still agree with her beliefs 100% because it's 100% RIGHT (and the same as mine). Nothing that comes up about her will change my mind about her and her beliefs. Finally, we have a name and a face "for" keep marriage between a man and a woman. She may not have wanted this "added-bonus" role, but it's hers now. This is a VERY good thing.
