We didn't really know what a Kimi Räikkönen is -- or how the hell to pronounce that last name -- but apparently he's a Formula One driver we happened to shoot in London yesterday ... and he's loaded beyond belief!!!

The speed racer raked in $44 million last year and is the 4th highest paid sportsman on the planet -- but the exuberance doesn't stop there.

Also worth millions: That sweet, white, old school Ferrari California parked in front of Kimi's sweet, metallic, new school Ferrari.

32. oh please everyone! stop comparing nascar and F1 racing.and just because TMZ does not know who kimi is does not mean Americans do not know. if he were gay he would have been on tmz years ago.and by the way nascar is both new and old school and F1 is all modern. it's like comparing baseball and cricket. F1 would be bigger hear if it was not on at 4 am and if they would add a race here again it would draw huge crowds

34. Shame. He IS an awesome driver but I don't take much offense to the fact that TMZ doesn't know how awesome he is. They wouldn't know TALENT if it sat on their faces. 36. IDIOTS... KIMI WAS ONLY A SECOND RATE DRIVER STUCK IN LESSER TEAMS UNTIL ONE MICHAEL SCHUMACHER RETIRED (HE WON 6 F1 WORLD TITLES, RETIRED IN 2006) AND KIMI TOOK OVER AS DRIVER NUMBER ONE. SCHUMACHER MADE WAY MORE MONEY THAN KIMI AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FERRARI'S COMEBACK AFTER YEARS OF MEDIOCRITY. FERRARI IS SAID TO HAVE AN ANNUAL BUDGET OF OVER 350 + MIL.

37. Kimi was not a second rate driver at a lesser team before Ferrari. He was arguably the fastest driver in F1 while at Maclaren, but his car had horrible reliability (as anyone who saw him retire from the lead on the final lap in Germany remembers). He also won the world championship with Ferrari, although he needed a good bit of luck to do it. Since then, he has struggled. He is a damn good driver, but he doesn't seem to be as effective at developing the car as Schumacher was (or Alonso is). And, yes, many Americans (myself included) are perfectly aware of who Kimi is.

40. Alot of people are not race fans, so of course they don't even know who Nascar or Indy Car drivers are and they race in America. I mean gees I wore a Marco Andretti t-shirt to work and nobody knew who he was and his family are race legends. If your not a race fan and you don't follow it how the heck are going to be able to know any F1 racer? We can't even watch those races out here.

41. FYI, some of us Americans DO know who Kimi is, and we even know how to pronounce his name. We're not all NASCAR fans, you know!!! But as "stupidforeign..." said above, it's damn hard to find a televised F1 race on TV here. And, I have to go to the British version of Yahoo to get F1 news. Sad, but true.

43. Kimi is the coolest guy on the planet.
He's the best driver in the world and he will be back in force once Ferrari gets their car balanced.
If you don't like his style, you're missing the point entirely. He's an absolute delight.
Watch him this weekend in Spain.

If you don't know who Kimi is, you are nothing.
What does TMZ watch? Nascar?? Football? Bleech!

45. The Scaglietti is a company car. It's only his because he races for the Ferrari F1 team. I'm not even sure the white one is his, but I might be wrong.
