17. Steph...I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that I have never driven drunk, not by myself and certainly not with anyone else in my car. a 17 year old IS a child specially compared to someone in their late 20's. he didn't put a gun to anyone's head but he did make decisions that cost someone their life and cost a parent her child. that to me is unforgivable, specially since he got off with a slap on the wrist...he did less time in jail than people who get busted with an ounce of weed on their 3rd strike and he TOOK someone's life. I think it's only fair for him to pay with his own life...sorry if that sounds too harsh but that kid at 17 had the best years of his life ahead of him, and now he's laying dead and decayed 6 feet under because of this jerk. I have no sympathy for him.

18. A regular person would still be in jail for dozens of years to come. Not Nick Hogan and this wasteoid though.

I see your point. I pray that my daughter never makes the mistake of driving drunk or riding with someone under the influence. I have very little symapthy for criminal acts as well. However, I have empathy for both parties in this particular situation. Hopefully, Lane has turned his life around. I wish the best for him and I hope he uses this tragedy to help others.

20. why are people being so hateful to this man he sreved his time! Haven't you ever gotten drunk and got behind the wheel of a car? He already paid for what he did so leave him alone!
