62. What's with the inflammatory use of the word hatred? Listen up- marriage has been defined as the union of a man and woman since the dawn of civil law. Saying gays are "married" may suit someone's agenda, but it isn't what they are doing. For thousands of years, marriage has been a political and social event between a man and a woman. Never has the word been defined as a homosexual contract. NEVER. Most people don't care what legal rights gays are given, but a great many people do not believe that it should be called marriage, as it is not marriage. It is a hetero word- it always has been. I don't care if gays want to enter a union with all the civil legal rights - but they have to be willing to get divorced too. Marriage is not just a traditional word, it is a word that has carried great political and social significance. And it is a hetero word. But TMZ shouldn't implay that anyone who disagrees with it is HATEFUL- that is muddying the waters of what is a complicated issue for a lot of people.

Read up, tard. We are laughing at the fact that Palin has "reached out" to Prejean... Whatever their beliefs are, or whether or not they hate gays has nothing to do with our President. That is a pretty piss-poor argument to begin with, as it was said during a debate for a PRESIDENTIAL election. How are you all so stupid as to try and connect that to a pair of idiot beauty queens that are only being defended because they pulled religion out of their asses to appease the blathering drooling masses.

Imagine the embarrassment your poor children and grandchildren will feel knowing the hate-mongering and intolerance they came from.. Either way, this has nothing to do with conservatives, liberals, or even Palin (as much as she craves the attention) This is about Prejean, and the fact that she couldn't keep from running her mouth off on every morning show after the pageant. She whined and balked that she would have won had she answered differently. Doubtful. She's dumb, and plastic, and a lying attention whore. She needs her crown taken, immediately.

73. The same is happening in all media. Its not that they (we) hate gay people. Its the MEANING OF THE WORD "MARRIAGE" --its description is "between one man and one woman"---civil unions are fine-no problem-but when you try to change the meaning of a word just because you think it descriminates is wrong. The majority of Americans believe marriage is between a man and a woman and I'm sick of the minority thinking we all have to change our ways because it doesn't suit them.
