Miss USA -- Not All Topless Photos Are Equal

There's another reigning beauty queen who took some very topless photos before she won her pageant -- but unlike Carrie Prejean, Miss Rhode Island USA's crown was never ever in jeopardy.



According to Alysha Castonguay, she dropped her top for a Maxim magazine shoot and a few swimsuit calenders way before her competition -- but there was no controversy over the pics because they were all seen and approved by the Miss USA pageant officials.

But Alysha tells TMZ she feels for Miss Cali saying, "I personally believe this situation is stemming from the controversy over her opinion and not a photo."

The final decision on dethroning Carrie Prejean is still being deliberated by the Miss USA and Miss California officials.

121. Miss Rhode Island, Alysha Castonguay's pictures are much worse than Miss California, Carrie Prejean's recent pictures that have arose. Alysha (RI) is completely topless in many of her maxim pictures. Miss RI should be de-crowned due to her nude pictures that were taken previous to the Pageant. California may have some provocative pictures, but Miss RI is much worse so it is unfair to keep both contestants in the pageant. When considering both girls photos clearly Alysha's (Miss RI) are much more risque, inappropriate, and provocative compared to Carrie Prejean (Miss CA). Mr. Trump should de-thrown both Miss RI and Miss CA. Miss RI's pictures were taken by maxim magazine and she is shown in the same pose as California (i.e. back turned to the camera in booty shorts topless with their bare breast showing on the side.) The only difference is CA did not a have full frontal picture of her breast where RI did. So if anything Alysha should be out. It is not fair to eliminate one one contestant both should be disqualified and have their crowns taken from them. It is only fair!

122. People need to stop focusing on Miss CA own personal beliefs about gay marriage and worry about the facts, she was semi-nude in her photos. That is against the pageant rules... Miss RI also did the same thing. I think people should stop focusing on Miss CA and her final answer, and worry about the rules. Both Rhode Island and California need to be de-throwned. RI did not even place in the top 15. CA was 1st runner up. There are many other woman who know how to keep their clothes on who want to compete. If anyone should be eliminated it should be RI.... followed by Miss CA

Deep down gay marriage is repulsive to any normal human being with a pulse. A lot of people posture for reasons of political correctness, but instinctively recoil from the idea. This overreach of PC is going to generate a massive backlash in one form or another.

Homosexuality will never be accepted as morally and socially equal to heterosexuality because that separation is rooted in our collective survival instinct. You simply can't bully the breeders into acceptance because even if you succeed there will be hell to pay sooner or later.
