Obama Syked Out at Correspondents' Dinner

Wanda Sykes, intro for President Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents' Dinner ... the room filled with celebs who really don't have anything to do with the event but were dying to be seen ...

Wanda was ... good. Funniest joke was about Vice President Joe Biden. Seemed a little too friendly.
Obama was good too, but it all just seemed a little too sycophantic.

1. "the room filled with celebs who really don't have anything to do with the even but were dying to be seen ..."

this is why my 6th grade teacher, ms martinetti, always told us to PROOFREAD.... bless her, she was right...

2. Man! I usually don't sweat typos, but damn! Oh, and some funny times, but for some it had to have been uncomfortable at times. Even cooler!

3. It's "sycophant" not "sichophant" or were you just making up a new word? Use spell check the next time.

4. TMZ if your going to try to impress the readers with big words try spelling them right:

sycophant: a servile self seeking flatterer

I beleive you were intending to use the adjetive form which is sycophantic

5. @ the 1:00 min mark, the smile quickly was removed from Obama's face when she mentioned the media being favorable to him.....lol

6. Someone needs to put whoever wrote this story back in the janitor's closet where he or she belongs. Or at least teach him/her some proper grammar and spelling before letting them write their own story.

7. Harvey: Who are you letting write your posts these days? The friggin' DNC?? Wanda Sykes was NOT funny and in fact was embarrassing. Most sane liberals could not even stomach her nasty, vile sense of humor--they even booed her (and we aren't talking the FOX news table, either). Wishing someone dead--that's funny now to TMZ? Telling crude sex jokes about the Palins while Todd is sitting in the room? Comparing those "jokes" with the jokes told about Biden's verbosity (ha ha, we've never heard those jokes before, Wanda. How original!) doesn't even begin to compare on the meanspiritedness scale. I had to turn it off because my kids were watching with me. Since when does a WCDA dinner become an R-rated smutfest? I've watched these things for years and I truly was appalled. The entertainers at these dinners in the past have roasted the CURRENT administration with witty jabs. How is it funny going after Bush? They did that for 8 years and it's time to move on. The left wing in this country has become so despicable. Harvey Levin--aren't you above that?

9. Uh, whose 8-year-old wrote that awful little piece? Proof-read much? You guys are usually the funniest & wittiest celeb site around but that was awful.

10. "Seemed a little to friendly"
Try too friendly, as in, TMZ writers are too stupid to write in proper English.

11. Why is it that I can spell more correctly than the people who work on this site? Geez, use a dictionary. Or ask a friend. Or ask Jeeves. Or go back to school. Or don't use big words if you misspell them and end up looking idiotic.

14. I agree with #6-Wanda was NOT funny-she was insulting, mean, and crass. She stepped way over the line-Obama was funnier than she was. I loved his 'getting the next 100 days done in 72 days and resting on the 73rd.' See Wanda-you were supposed to poke fun at THIS administration-couldn't do it, could ya??
PS-was the 'writer' of this piece 7 years old- or drunk- or both??
