J.J. Abrams pulled off one serious star trick this weekend at LAX -- by fooling our photog with one of the best "you've mistaken me for someone else" routines we've ever seen.

In our guy's defense, it's not like there was a huge "Abrams/McGrath" tag -- his wife's last name is McGrath -- hanging from J.J.'s bag or anything.

6. "Khan artist" indeed, as his dumbed-down sh*tstorm of a Star Trek movie proves. What a shame to pi$$ on the grave of the deeply thoughtful and intelligent Gene Roddenberry with such a moronic pre-teen-level action film. Welcome to Star Trek 90210.
