16. A moped is basically a bicycle with a motor--mopeds always have pedals. A scooter is basically a motorcycle on which you sit upright, with your feet in front of you, rather than straddle. Mopeds have very low top speeds, whereas there are scooters with top speeds equivalent to those of the fastest motorcycles. I'm just sayin.'

20. # 5 Lola: You are absolutely right . He was an asshole in front of all the royalty and dignitasries at htis evednt in Coral Gables. He was very drunk, said the F word repeatedly and actually reminded people all over the world how the Ugly American term came about. The thing is that he is making all this money and the royalties from Spain: On The Road Again videos, shows on PBs and others, cds, book, etc. However, he had not one ounce of respect for the people that allowed him in their country to film all of this. I CANNOT STAND THIS MAN!

For the admirers that do not know that he presented the perfect image of the Ugly American, he was at the Biltmore in Coral Gables, Miami recdentlhy and it was horrific . His behavior was so totally unacceptable that it was on the news, on every tabloid, talk shows etc.. He was very drunk in front of royalty, celebrities and dignitaries. He cursed repeatedly including the f word and was an ugly sight to see and embarassing as hell. He had the guts and a todal disregard of respect for the king and queen of spain that have graciously allowed him to visit their country to film and make money of the Spain: On The Road Again series of films, books, cds, presentations on PBS and others.
What an unclassy man, I canno stand him, he is a total asshole!
