64. I am glad Trump has arrived at this decision. I am tired of watching gay activists persecute people for their staright opinions. These tactics have to change, and would not change if Trump had arrived at a different decision. Hilton admitted he wanted her to give a mainstream answer. Miss USA represents democracy, not the needs of this particular few, leave the gay issues to the democratic process.

72. NOW, since women came out and bashed Sarah Palin and didn't support her or women in general, maybe we need to look to Donald Trump to come out and support Sarah in the next election. Matter of fact, I think he would make a great VP with her running to be our next president. She could do better than what we have right now. It is for sure we can't get any lower. The bar has been set by Obama. With Sarah Palin we can only go upwards. Somebody has got to have the gutts to fight back against these corrupt radical groups that the Democrats are catering to now. Palin/Trump in 2012. These same liberal radical groups with the help of the bias liberal media are the same ones who lied and targeted Sarah Palin and they got by with it during this past election. Trump is one man who will stand up and stomp down these radical journalist. He did it in this news conference and I was so proud of him. He earned my respect today when he basically told that journalist his question was stupid and rediculous and to sit down and shut up because he wasn't even going to give him a chance to make something up and turn it around out of pure liberal radical bias.

73. The most unbelievable thing in this whole debacle is not the pictures, or even her answer. It is the way Perez Hilton savaged her for respectfully giving her opinion on something she was asked about. What a country we live in - a beauty queen could lose her crown for voicing a conservative opinion, but the president of the United States is unaffected for voicing the same view.

74. I didn't mind her anti-gay marriage speech. This is America, and we're all entitled to our own opinion. I don't even mind the semi-nude photos -- although they're obviously not the highlight of her supposedly highly touted Christian morals, I'm no prude, and couldn't care less about them.

I do care, however, that she's made a mockery of the Miss California title by lying on her application about the photos, and by ignoring her signed agreement to not be a representative of groups that do not represent all people of California. It's explicity stated in her contract that she must get written permission to be a spokesman of ANY group, and she refuses to ask for that. In addition, she is ignoring the sponsors that she agreed to -- in a legally binding contract.

On top of that, she lied about when the photos were taken. She was no "naive teenager" as she first claimed when she took the photos -- which is what she told the Miss California committee as well as the anti-marriage group she is now representing.

I wonder how they feel about being represented by someone so willing to lie to them as well as everyone else? And they are notoriously silent about the photos, especially since they found out the photos were taken just last year.

I don't think her "Christian" values are exactly what they had in mind. (And before you ask, yes, I am Christian.)

75. To Ms. California, these photos might not mean racy you judgemental people out there. Words have "connotative meanings" if you are not aware.

The sad thing is to see someone being haunted like a witch because she exercised her right of free speech. In the future, I urge Donald to not allow these types of questions and do not allow Perez Hilton ever again to judge a beauty contest because he is obviously gealous that he cannot run for Miss USA. Now let's see them trying to change the concept of MISS USA too.

Here is a kid, a 21 year old, doing the best she can. She is beautiful and all those people out there trying to ruin her must be very unhappy people. The California Pageant speaking yesterday in the news conference I think might be gay too....

Come on people "Protective Classes" should carry the responsibility to make their group look good. Stop harassing those who are not like you and do not think like you. Read the Constitution! Respect other people's rights, you are making Lesbians and Gays to look bad. There great gays and lesbians out there that are not scum bags such as the likes of Hilton.
