Criss Angel -- The Tail of the Missing Cat

Criss AngelCriss Angel is in the middle of a serious hostage situation -- and the hostage is a cute little kitty cat.

The Vegas magician is accused of taking a fluffy lil' feline belonging to fellow Vegas showman Jeff Beacher -- and now Beacher is getting his lawyers involved in an attempt to get his pet back.

In a strongly-worded letter fired off to Angel, Beacher accuses Angel of jacking the animal from a friend who was supposed to be watching the cat while Beacher mourned the death of his father.

Beacher claims Angel not only refuses to give it back -- but worse yet, he says the "Mindfreak" taunted him about the cat on the phone with comments like, "I took your cat ... he lives with me now ... the cat no longer likes you ... the cat and I have become close friends."

Now Beacher demands the safe return of the cat -- plus "the value of the use of his cat during the period of detention."

Calls to the cat have not yet been returned.

47. I just came across this and OMG. Did you people forget there is a war going on and young men and women are out there fighting on a daily basis? You're publishing a story about a cat being stolen? Why not try to stop Dog and Cock fighting if you want to write stories about animals, write stories to help them. I've seen your show once or twice TMZ and the reactions that are given when Criss Angels name is brought up, if you don't like him LEAVE HIM ALONE. And as for the person who wants to kidnap his mother and father.....who would think of something so sick? His Mom is a senior and probably well protected, Criss does have two brothers and probably alot of security and what you're going to desecrate his fathers grave by digging it up and stealing the body. You need help seriously.....mental help now! Criss has worked hard to become what he has and for all the judgemental people out there.....does it really matter? Do you really care how another person dresses, looks, has sex with? Really you all need a life. And as for Criss all I can say is be careful what you wish for because along with the good there's bound to be bad and how much is all up to you. I happen to admire Criss, he's accomplished alot in life and is truley an inspiration. (unlike Michael Vic) And I think Criss got Hammie after his divorce from his wife (a 10+year relationship) and she got Minx, so now he has Hammie. I don't know the facts or exact times and dates. And I truly Believe Criss didn't steal Hammie (have you seen them together) there's extortion written all over this one. Money, Money, Money unbelieveable whoever you are, jealous and obviously not doing it for the cat........5 years (that's 36 in cat years) and I do know math.....dog and cat years are different. TMZ why don't you go out and get a compelling news story! This is not one.
