T.I.'s New Home -- The Arkansas Bar Scene

T.I. has eleven days to report to his one year and one day prison sentence -- and we know where he's going.

T.I., real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., will surrender himself to a low security prison in Forrest City, Arkansas by noon on May 26.

No special treatment here -- he'll likely have a roomie, be kept in the general population, which includes about 1,500 inmates, and be assigned to work detail.

In March, Atlanta federal court sentenced the 28-year-old rapper on federal weapons charges related to the purchase of machine guns and silencers.

22. hey he's still got a life ahead him, I think he's gonna get better after serving his time, and he's going to learn from his mistakes. I think this will make a better man out of him, and he can teach this to younger people not to follow in his foot prints.

24. All of the people complaining about T.I getting a lighter sentence than a "normal" member of society. . . Did you ever think that maybe he got a lighter sentence because his "good outweighed the negative" . He was able to give more back to society than someone from the working class or lower. That's the whole purpose of being put into prison, jail, etc. being put into one of those places is so you give back to society in a way. . He just had more opportunities to give back because he has more money, money that he WORKS for. Famous or Not. I respect T.I for all that he has done, whether you want to say he's "phony" with that TV show or not, it's still making kids realize "you don't have to be a dopeboy to get money". He's shining a light on kid's futures so they don't give in when it gets tuff. Everything he does, and everything he says has soulful meaning behind it. People are getting so mad about the situation, it's his not yours. Relax.
