48. I think it's ok to like who you like, but when you're performing on AI, I think you should be neutral. If the staff over at AI knew about this they should have put a stop to it. And why is this dude already on the cover of EW. He's been one of my favs since the beginning and I think he might win, but you never know. I think some ppl are jumping the gun a little too soon!

49. Katy Perry should just change her name to Tacky Perry. She dresses horribly and her bug eyes make me dizzy. She's befriended Rihanna (I hope they do not make a song together) and now shes on American Idol ruining that for me too. She should not have been aloud to wear that cape on the show. She can let everyone know who she wants to win by going on some other show just like Simon Cowell goes on talk shows and gives his opinion and predictions.

51. The point is not that Katy Perry is allowed to have an opinion it is that the producers should never have allowed it. I can only hope they didn't know she was going to wear that because it was extremely disrespectful to Kris and Danny. Its not the same as if she was in the audience holding a sign or mentioning him during an interview, etc. I cannot believe that so many people cannot make that distinction.

52. The show has been under increasing criticism for its blatant favoritism. Adam Lambert has repeatedly gotten to sing last on the program, and the judges have over-praised his derivative Robert Plant performances while faulting other contestants who have given original and memorable performances. If the show hadn't been exposed for its lack of integrity, Katie's cape wouldn't have been a big deal. Given the shameful partisan behavior of the judges thus far this season, however, viewers took her cape as yet another pimp campaign on behalf of Adam.

HA! I love it. I am 53 years old and have never watched even one season of American Idol or any reality show for that matter. But I saw a news blurb about Adam's Mad World...I checked it out and now I don't care if Nancy Pelosi lied about the CIA torture thing...What is Adam going to sing on Tuesday night. 55. I hate it when celebrities try to push things they like on their fans. She is entitle to her opinion, but it was very inappropriate for her to pull that stunt at this stage of the competition. I think that was rude and unfair to Kris and Danny. I will not ever support her or her music out of principle alone!

56. Totally think this was a set-up for Adam. You can't tell me no one saw her outfit before she went on stage. Are they pushing the sexual issue this year?
I think this year favoritism is shown more than ever before.
Adam also has experience preforming in the public eye unlike the others.
His sexual preference is not the issue. But this is a family show and more things are being exploited than is necessry.

Famous people know that they can influence people based on what they like and that's what she was trying to do, which is why it was so wrong and inappropriate. I hate that bi*ch for what she did.
