'Idol' Winner Treated Like a Real Loser

31. It just goes to show: just because someone wins a season of "American Idol" doesn't seem to mean much. The runner up, Clay Aiken, seems to be making a lot more money and is more sucessful than Reuben.. And look at Jennifer Hudson? She wasn't even a runner up---- and look how far her career has gone--- and she is going strong. And an Academy Award, too!!!

33. Ruben wasn't complaining; he was very diplomatic in his responses. BTW he has lost a lot of weight and looked a lot healthier. He started an initiative regarding weight and it seems as though he followed through with it on a personal level. He looks well and answered the the questions truthfully; not with malice. Good for Ruben. Wish him well;he is a talented man.

37. TMZ is always trying to start some sh** and make a big deal out of nothing. Ruben said nothing about wanting American Idol to pay for his trip to LA did you not hear the man say he had other things going on also. His cd did just dropped today perhaps he also had promotions to do while in LA so he decided to go to finale. Get over yourselves all of you that continue to call Ruben a loser because guess what 5 years later he is still making great music, so go on with your lives

42. Don't jump all over Reuben...he didn't complain about not getting a ticket. TMZ asked him if Idol bought
his ticket when they saw him at the airport...he merely said no... No whining or anything so give him a break

44. Did he expect free travel fair for the rest of his life? LOL. He shouldn't be asking for that kind of thing. After 6 years, it's expected that he's earning enough to pay his own ticket. And if he can't pay his own ticket then maybe he needs a real job.
