'Real Housewives' to Invade, Exploit Beverly Hills

5/19/2009 1:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The producers behind the "Real Housewives" shows are hunting for their next attention-whoring lineup of women to cash in on -- and this time they're setting their sights on Beverly Hills.

Real Housewives

TMZ has stumbled upon a brand new casting ad saying:

"Bravo is looking for outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women who reside in and around the Beverly Hills area that want to share their lives.

"We are looking for women who are lively and energetic, with defined opinions and views. Our featured women should have busy lives, be involved with the community, have a strong work ethic, and an active social calendar."

Translation -- They want some unbeweaveably crazy, catty, standoffish quasi-rich chicks who are willing to drum up enough faux-drama to keep people glued to their TVs. It's Bev. Hills, people... they shouldn't have too much trouble.

What is really sad is that these reality "tv" personalities are being treated like royalty/stars. Whatever happened to being famous for actually having talent? It is truly unfortunate that these personalities are put into the same limelight as true stars like Julia Roberts or Leo DeCaprio. Both these stars are truly stars, both talented and have a real grip on life. And, although not perfect, they do not suck up to the photographers trying to gain notoriarity. Which is unlike all these reality stars!

I like how it says "live in, our NEAR, Beverly Hills". They'll get some wannabees from anywhere in LA and just fake it. Bullsheed.

How about Miami? If you want fake plastic bodies, lots of cash and pompous superficial arrogant bitches, we have it all!
Welcome to Mayami!

Bravo, on the other hand, what else ya got? This is starting to get boring, not to mention completely and utterly depressing. And my IQ slipped 10 points with last week's episode.

Silly? Yea. Over the top? Sure. Indulgent? Absoultely! I like the housewives series...if I didn't I would change the channel. It's like a soap opera, but with elements of reality and drama. It's like dessert - and I always did have a sweet tooth!

The total fascination of watching these programs is like that of a train wreck. I watch all of them (except Atlanta - absolute NO interest in that)with my jaw hanging open because I just can't believe it. There are some scary women on there, most notably Kelly (NY) and Danielle (NJ). Very disturbed and yet still walking the streets. Figure that one out!

These women are pathetic! Nothing more than gold-digging whores who marry for money. There life is probably more empty than mine. We talk so much about not caring what other people think of you and to be yourself, then they put this trash on tv. Fake women, acting as though their lives are so grande, yet have to have their 15 minutes of fame by exploiting their fake lifestyles. All I can say is ladies, get a @#$#% life. Who cares about your drama and your need to impress somebody you dont even know just to make yourselves feel important. These women should realize that if not for the money and the exposure for this show, who would like them. With money comes fake friends, but when its all gone, who is there for you. You, and you only! Get a life ladies, we dont care about your pathetic need to show-off your empty lives!!!

It got me that as she sat their and had a manicure with her mother who has cancer and was not getting a manicure that all that came out of her mouth was ME & I and how bad she had it. Thank God she has 4 nannies maybe her children will have a chance glimpse at some reality of normal real life for the rest of the human race.
