19. Not sure what it is about him, but he's always annoyed me. I think he's a nice person and has done some great things in film and for veterans, etc. he just annoys me. He always seems ot have this little smirk on his face. His recent appearance on Letterman was embarrassing.

25. OMG!!!!! You people............this is TOM HANKS!!!! He is one of (if not THE) best film actors the United States has! He is a brilliant talent & trully a hell of a nice guy. Not to mention married to the same women for over 20yrs. & is a dedicated father. He is the whole package & it is just so blatantly obvious that people who gossip negatively about such a successful human being are unhappy with there own lives. How very sad.......God Bless You.

28. I once wanted all day behind the LA Forum to meet Neil DIamond. When his motorcade finally tried getting past me, I begged for an autograph. He wrote something I could hardly read, but it included a word that looked like either DIAN or PLAN. Either way, it made no sense what he wrote and I could hardly read it. These folks need to slow down and give some love back to the fans.

29. Why are people getting so pissy? It's the same damn signature he's used for years, just a little sloppy. He wasn't being "disrespectful" to the fan, he wasn't being a "douchebag," he was stopping whatever he was doing to sign books for fans with a smile and likely a nice word or more.

Plenty of celebrities have erratic signatures...if you had to sign no telling how many pieces of paper at lightning speed, you'd have a signature-scrawl, too!

Leave him alone. Clearly, the fan doesn't mind how he signed the damn book!
