WWE

Sticks It to Denver,

Moves Event to L.A.

5/20/2009 6:59 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The Denver Nuggets won the battle -- but the WWE isn't finished with their war.

WWE event
After Vince McMahon raised hell when the team's owner screwed up and double booked the Pepsi Center for a WWE event on the same night as an NBA playoff game between the Nugs and the Lakers, the wrestlers have finally agreed to take their show on the road.

But in what seems to be a premeditated twist of fate, Vince is bringing the show to the Staples Center in L.A. -- home of the Lakers.

The Pepsi Center is now stuck having to refund thousands of tickets.

Just Me

You people are hilarious! The Pepsi Center is THE HOME OF THE DENVER NUGGETS! And this is a championship game! And just to clarify, McMahon made an ass out of himself BY BEING AN ASS! Simple as that. This was a problem that they tried to fix by offering him another venue, which he refused LIKE AN ASS! Happy Trails!!!

GO NUGGETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Vince

Seriously, people... A contract was signed in March 2009 with no provisions in the contract to cancel or move the event. Nuggets Owner of all people should understand that he MUST abide by any contract that he signs or any representative signs for him. In March, the Denver Nuggets were doing well enough for him or any member of the Nuggets organization to see that they may go to the Playoffs. Any good analyst can see the way a team is playing compared to another organization and see if they are going to have a chance to go to the playoffs, and possibly how far. Vince has a very legitimate case against the Denver Nuggets organization to redeem all of the revenue he was expected to gain through having Monday Night Raw (a LIVE television show that cannot be moved or relocated on a very small amount of notice due to transportation costs, scheduling ticket sales, etc.) at the Pepsi Center. He could also sue for not just lost revenue but for all the things said in the parentheses. If I could I would be attending the Staples Center this Monday just to show Kroenke that he needs to double check his business standards, or he's gonna lose a portion of a mssive amount of revenue. It does help that I too, am a wrestling fan. :) I think I was quite eloquent in this and I know I am not white trash, nor redneck, and I also have a high IQ. Unlike those who might think otherwise.

TheBottomline!!!

Anyone who says wrestling fans are white trash, rednecks are stupid stereotyping idiots. I'm a wrestling fan, Hispanic from Bronx, NY.

Anyone that say wrestling is fake.....Duh.

But yet it's fake and people shouldn't watch it yet you're on this site which posts a bunch of trash. (I just came on here because someone told me of the dumb comments being made here.)
