Kiefer in The Clear

It looks like Kiefer Sutherland has dodged a major bullet after the famous headbutt -- it's highly unlikely he will be prosecuted for the love tap with designer Jack McCollough.



There is no longer a complaining witness in the case because McCollough has settled his beef with Jack Bauer.

Without a complaining witness -- especially since this is a misdemeanor -- you can bet your house that Kiefer will not be prosecuted.

Especially important because the development makes it unlikely Kiefer will have his probation violated in Los Angeles -- he has to be a good boy after his DUI conviction last year.

No word on whether Kiefer had to pay Jack for his medical bills ... or his enormous grief.

18. I used to have an appreciation for this loser back when he was smart and witty and knew how to CONTROL himself. Now he's just a drunk idiot that thinks he can break laws and get away with it. I honestly think a few months in jail (AGAIN) would have helped. Maybe a forced in-patient REHAB for a year or two just to make sure he's freakin clean. Sorry, Sutherland. You're a boozehound and a loser that needs to grow up and stop being a prick to everyone when you DO drink under *other* reasons.

19. I am glad that this thing was settled. I'm sure that the only reason for this is because "twenkle toes" Jack got paid. In my opinion Jack was wrong for knocking over Brooke and he should be the one to say he's sorry to Brooke. The guy was in it for the money. And "16 he's not a spoiled Hollywood child his father left him and his sister when they wer three years old. They lived in public housing and what he did in Hollywood and for his career he did on his own. Read up on the man before you make stupid comments. I'm very happy for Kiefer.

22. In Los Angeles two guys were mugging an old woman by the side of a freeway. Although they could have been armed, one driver stopped his car, got out, and helped the woman. That person was Kiefer Sutherland. It turned out they were part of a film being shot by a camera from a distance. Those of you who talk about cowards or drunkards should perhaps ask yourself whether YOU would have got involved. I personally doubt it.

23. Ummm... Kiefer got where he is through hard work and taking chances at the right time. If you know anything about his life it was he who got where he is today without any help (accept) from his family. He is a phenominal talent and appears to be a good person. He has one biological child but has helped raise children of the two women he married and refers to them has is daughter and sons.
