Pat Boone -- I Called Elvis a Fatty
Talk about making a great last impression -- because the last time Pat Boone saw The King, one month before he died, dude made fun of Elvis' weight.

16. Never, ever cared for this man, his bubble gum music, or his holier than thou attitude. To my way of thinking he was always a hanger on who never could stand another performers (ie Elvis ) success. Elvis, even through all his personal demons, was always a Southern gentleman who was never JEALOUS of another performers success.

17. Everybody "stole" from everyone else in the old days.
Blacks ''stole" from whites as often as vice versa.
Elvis "stole" form black singers/performers from the start.
Later, he "stole" from other whites ('Blue Suede Shoes") and even later, he covered many whites' originals.
So can the accusations against Pat Boone. His label only did what every other label did! They "stole" material from others.
(Translation: They released their own version of the material)
Love both Elvis and Pat. IMO, Pat was really the more sexy of the two. Even tho I felt Elvis was more pretty.
And Elvis would be even more wrinkly than Pat, were he alive today.
Elvis was wonderful, however. I even saw him do his karate thing in Las Vegas. BTW, he kissed the young girls, and guys who ringed around his platform.
And can that look of shock! This was/is Las Vegas!

18. Pat Boone is a very nice guy. All of you petty morons knocking him don't have a clue. You're probably a bunch of white trash meth-freaks. Go back and watch The View or someother mindless crap.

19. Elvis - another talented singer who was very screwed up. Hopefully Amy Winehouse will not end up like him.

20. Pat and Elvis were not only the most popular singers of their time but they were also friends. Since when has a ittle teasing between friends become a crime? It's not as if Pat was trying to hurt Elvis prior to his death and who knew Elvis would die a few months later? Shame on TMZ and most of you for treating our legends with this disrespectful type of reporting and commentary that has unfortunately become so common with this onslaught of talented wanabees who many seem to worship. This is not a tabloid star but a real star. For those of you who don't know who Pat is...look him up. You will be amazed by his accomplishments!

21. Wow, this is very disturbing. Pat Boone's daughter, Cheryl Lynn Boone O'Neill, wrote a book called "Starving For Attention" about her long struggle with an eating disorder. At the time Pat Boone made this comment to Elvis, Cheryl was in her early 20's and had been struggling for many years with full blown anorexia which almost ended her life. She attributed part of that illness to growing up in an extremely strict home and being in a role that was a combination of preacher's daughter and celebrity's daughter. That Pat Boone could make a joke about someone being a "fatty" given his own daughter's deadly illness, makes me wonder what kind of messages he was giving his daughters about their weight while they were growing up.

22. When I was in show biz we were in the show that followed Pat Boone into the Latin Quarter in Akasaka Tokyo. All I can say that he is the world's largest homophobe, hypocrite, and douche. And give me a break with those white shoes, nurse.

25. When i think of Pat Boone i think of a man with no talent and always remember his version of Tutty Frutty as the worst version i ever heard.
Now when i think of Elvis i think of a guy that was a genius with an amazing talent and a powerful voice i think of a gentleman who never make fun of anyone to put people down and hurt them.
So Elvis is dead but still alive Pat Boone is alive but he is dead.
