21. I watched LKL last night and I thought it was quite bizarre the way no one in that whole show seems to get Kris Allen-- even now. They keep talking about what a nice guy he is. And he is. But the idea that he didn't work his ass off to win is belied by his performances every week. He obviously worked REALLY HARD and put a lot of thought into the arrangements. He is by nature a low key guy but that doesn't in any way mean that he didn't double down and try really hard to win. I have no doubt that he means what he says when he congratulates Adam for being talented, or says that he believed Adam also deserved to win. But what I don't really care for is the way Adam tried to dominate the interview last night, jumping in over Kris' answers, etc. I don't think there is anything Adam can do to shake Kris up though, and I am willing to be that over the long haul Kris Allen will be a force to be reckoned with in music. At some point people in the industry will catch up to the idea that the "nice guy" also happens to be a very focused artist and a tenacious worker.

22. I agree with Tom Tobin. It is heartwarming to see two men from such different points of view show respect for each other. The world would be a better place if more of us could be tolerant of others and value their opinions. We can still be true to ourselves, it's just a matter of respecting other human beings. I think Adam and Kris are classy guys.
