91. what ticks me off is that it is more socially acceptable for a woman to sleep with young boys. the only reason this one got the 7 years was because he was 12/13 if he had been 15 or over it would have been a slap on the wrist. for the most part boys who sleep with older women are "lucky" and girls who sleep with older men are " raped" disregardless of circumstances. this particular situation makes me wonder about the children. can you imagine what they must have to deal with?

92. it's unfortunate the double standard that we all seem to have. if she had been a man, and was caught having sex with a student multiple times, fathered 2 children, and unabashedly confessed his undying love for a 13 year old girl, that male teacher would still be in prison, if not dead from being beaten by his fellow inmates. yes vili is now an adult and can marry whom he choses, but why is it cool when young teen boys get laid but horrible when the girls do? love should have no boundaries, but my goodness, a 20 something being in love with a 40 something is one thing, but a barely teenage boy and a thirty year old? why not an 8 year old with a 20year old? gross.

96. i went to jr college with mary kay, at orange coast college in costa mesa, ca.

i am a pacific islander, i am moari from new zealand and was attending jr college @ OCC. mary kay was in one of my classes. we hit it off, and went out a few times. her family lived in a very upper class section of corona del mar, ca called spyglass hill.

The boy was 12 when the "hot teacher" started seducing him. Whether or not it was right or wrong (I think we all know the answer to that), it promotes and perpetuates this kind of behavior among other teachers in the classroom upon students who may not be as "mature" as Letourneau insisted that Fualaau was. And where does it stop? 12 year olds? 10 year olds? 8 year olds? ...SIX year olds?

"In my defense, your honor, she was a very mature six year old."

You should all be ashamed of yourself for applauding this woman simply because time passed.
