Mike Tyson's Young Daughter on Life Support

Mike Tyson's DaughterCops say boxing legend Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter is in critical condition right now at an Arizona hospital, after a freak accident involving a treadmill cord almost took her life.

Paramedics were called to Tyson's Phoenix home at around 10:30 this morning when his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by its power cable, according to MyFoxPhoenix. Tyson was not home at the time.

The girl's mother took her off the cable and immediately started CPR.

Paramedics eventually arrived and took the girl to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, where cops say she remains on life support in "extremely critical condition." Tyson has since arrived to the hospital.

As of now, cops believe the incident was a "tragic accident."

16. A few facts people. Go to foxnews.com for the story. The mother was home cleaning while the child was in a play room. She sent the 7 year old to check on the daughter who found her & alerted the mom. It's a very terrible & unfortunate accident.

You sound like you need to make some sense, because you sure aren't making any sense now.

Prayers for the Tyson family. I really hope this is not as bad as it sounds.

24. love & prayers to them all--treadmills are not for kids to play on or around! My 5 year old suffered 2nd degree burns from the treadmill in our house. I can only imagine what other injuries kids could get. Hopefully their child will be ok!

26. Add a recliner near a window and aboy goofing around with the cord and he tangles it and falls to this:

I was once on a mock jury about a cord that hung a little boy. The cord was from mini blinds. Accidents happen to kids all the time. Not the product fault. Just an accident. Look around YOUR house tonight for accidnets waiting to happen.

Imagine a treadmill, a girl playing, maybe the metal part of the treadmill where you place your hands while running, maybe it was plugged in by her with a toy rope or jump rope...so many ways. thinking someone did something to her is just horrible. Just a freak accident that happened in a famous person family. These things happen every day and you never hear about them.

Death happens every second.

Check these death counters out and think about it:

27. I'd hoped something like this would elicit only class and sympathetic responses from the TMZ readers. Most of you have provided that. Some of you -- less so. Much less so.

My best to the Tyson family.

28. A fact I found that is interesting: ( not me writing, just pasting):

There are around 6 billion people in the world. On average, 85,000,000 people die every year. There are 365 days a year, divide 85,000,000 by 365 and you get 232876.7123287671. So around 232,877 people die EVERYday.

So if 232,877 people die everyday and you divide that by 24 (hours) you will find that 9,703 people die every hour. By dividing 9,703 by 60 (minutes) you will find that 161 people die every minute. And by dividing 161 by 60 (seconds) you will find that around about (2.6) 2 people die every second.

Now let me put that into perspective, the time it took you to read this from start till this point around 80 people have died. While I am writing this very sentence 4 people have died.

29. Dear Mike,

30. I raised kids, I know that bizarre accidents happen, especially if you aren't vigilant. But something doesn't smell right here. It's just not that easy for a four year old to get into this kind of situation and not be able to extricate themselves. It may be something as simple as the 7 year old and the 4 year old engaging in horseplay and the girl being hurt but there's more to this than is being said, bank on it.
