Mike Tyson's Young Daughter on Life Support

Mike Tyson's DaughterCops say boxing legend Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter is in critical condition right now at an Arizona hospital, after a freak accident involving a treadmill cord almost took her life.

Paramedics were called to Tyson's Phoenix home at around 10:30 this morning when his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by its power cable, according to MyFoxPhoenix. Tyson was not home at the time.

The girl's mother took her off the cable and immediately started CPR.

Paramedics eventually arrived and took the girl to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, where cops say she remains on life support in "extremely critical condition." Tyson has since arrived to the hospital.

As of now, cops believe the incident was a "tragic accident."

31. May God watch over your baby girl, whether here on Earth or in Heaven. We all will pass on, some sooner and some heartbreakingly gone too soon. Either way you will see her here or in Heaven one day. May God keep you in His embrace.

33. No matter how anyone may feel about this guy, I wouldn't wish a tragedy like this on my worse enemy. We should all get on our knees and pray for this child. Heavenly Father please bring peace to this family and send a miracle down to his baby girl.

Amen.

MY REPLY:

It is just because everyone is so shocked on TMZ by famous peoples lives, but don't really care that the man next door just died, or the boy upstairs is ready to kill himself, or the girl at work is sick and will die tomorrow and no one cares. Or the homeless person you just walked by that will die behind a busstop tonight....

I live in Phoenix and if I could I would hug and console that household...and I do care for all people and show it everyday to the types I just mentioned.

My point was to SHAKE you to take the time to CARE for everyday people right next to you!!! So if that makes me a douchbag...then great...I am a douchbag.

Read my previous post tonight and see that I clearly see this as ahorrible accident...you must not read the posts.

Life is valuable and fragile...THAT is the point of what I PASTED from someone elses statistics....SO maybe it will amke YOU THINK...not just that I am a douchbag...but that you may die tonight or someone YOU love...so take care and time to be kind and love even strangers...take time to look in to a strangers eyes and ask how they are and maybe listen.

You might be the douchebag?

44. These kind of freak accidents happen in the home all the time. I can't tell ya how many different stories I have heard.
Children when playing do not realize the dangers that could happen.
My question is...why wasn't the door to the treadmill shut....or the cables on the treadmill should have been put up out of sight so that children cannot get to them.

Unfortunately, this has been a growing trend because the parents are also trying to stay healthy and be at home.

Workout equipment is NO PLACE for a child. Neither is a stove..if a little one has just started pulling up and even started walking invest in the toilet locks..they can fall over and cannot distribute their weight to get them out and they can drown.
A little girl 2 years ago was outside with her Dad and he was washing the vehicles..she was playing and the bucket was full of soap and water and the little girl drowned IN A PALE OF WATER AND SOAP TO WASH THE CAR!!!!

I have even heard of people backing over their child as they were backing out of the driveway. Cuz they weren't paying attention to where their kids were.

I witnessed a man in a truck talking on his cellphone...he got his daughter out of her car seat..she got out of the truck and took off running...cuz she was excited about being at the mall. The dad was on the cellphone..someone in an SUV did not see her and backed over her and killed that little girl in the parking lot in front of Sears...it was HORRIBLE!!!
You can't be trying to control your kids in a parking lot and be on the cell phone...the call can wait...but a little girl died cuz he would not get off the phone and hold her hand to watch cars backing up.

Entertainment centers can fall over and crush a child...any furniture top heavy for that matter. Anyone with a child should go through each room on their hands and knees and look at the angle of things from the child's view.

A stud finder and some braces that maybe cost $10.00 at Home Depot or a hardware store are recommended for bracing something heavy... so it does not fall over on a child. Also...if you have chairs, love seats, couches, up against walls and their are large pictures..when they are little they are going to want to touch any wall hangings...use the scotch type hooks and add velcro for even support. I am sure the Consumer Products Safety Council has a ton of tips to help parents prevent injuries in the household. Children die every year from home related injuries..it is better to have everything battened down and locked down (toilet seat) also if your child has a TV in their room that sits on top of a dresser..the child can pull the drawers out and use them to crawl to the top so you might just want to put their TV on the floor.

The town I live in when a couple is expecting their first baby..as the baby gets older a police officer will visit your house and tell ya what could harm your child.

Children are so special and our job as parents is to keep them safe.

Mike...I am saying prayers for your little girl and your family. I'm sure her brother that found her is scared..and that should be addressed as well...it wasn't his fault...I'm glad he walked in and found her and by the Grace of God she will be OK!!

I'm Sorry but somebody should have been watching the kids more closely...especially the 4 year old!

Mike, My families Prayers are with You and Your family....God Bless!

You misunderstood, just as your clinical recount of how many people die a day on a post about a 4yr old who is in critical condition and might not make it, actually meant that you were a kind and sympathetic person trying to get others to act likewise, the term douchebag was meant to be an acknowledgement of that fact, so when I say you are not a douchebag, you are a hypocritical douchebag what I actually am saying is 'hail caring sharing sympathetic person who has the courage of his/her convictions who doesn't try to ' spin' callous indifference to the suffering of others after being called on it'. and when I say you are full of it...what i actually mean is ........., aw forget it, you are full of it.
