Mike Tyson's Young Daughter on Life Support

Mike Tyson's DaughterCops say boxing legend Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter is in critical condition right now at an Arizona hospital, after a freak accident involving a treadmill cord almost took her life.

Paramedics were called to Tyson's Phoenix home at around 10:30 this morning when his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by its power cable, according to MyFoxPhoenix. Tyson was not home at the time.

The girl's mother took her off the cable and immediately started CPR.

Paramedics eventually arrived and took the girl to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, where cops say she remains on life support in "extremely critical condition." Tyson has since arrived to the hospital.

As of now, cops believe the incident was a "tragic accident."

51. I dont know many people that allow they're 4 yr old children to play around in a weight room that has hundreds if not thousands of lbs worth of equipment in there. That room should be kept locked at all times unless an adult is in there. It sounds to me that the mother wasnt doing much supervising of her children. Even the 7yr old had access to the room. Even if she wasnt playing and simply walked in there for just a moment, thats all it takes is a split second for a tragic accident to happen, an accident that very well could have been prevented in the first place. My personal opinion is if this little girl dies, I believe the mother should be held accountable for not supervising her children, after all this girl is only 4 yrs old and at a time in her life where she wants to explore everything. I have a feeling if she doesnt make it, they will try to find a way to sue the manufacturer of the treadmill claiming it to be equipment failure or something, when in fact is was the child's fault and certainley the mothers fault for not watching her. Some will post after me and say, it cant the be the childs fault, she didnt know anybetter and to that I will say.... exactley my point about being supervised and not left alone to do as she pleases.
