65. So many people so quick to lay blame!! Can you imagine how she is feeling? Also I bet there are millions of homes in America that has excercise stuff lying around! And all types of cords are in an average home. It was an ACCIDENT-before you start blaming others,walk around your own home and check for kid hazards and i bet most would find some,if not many!!

66. Mike once lived in my town in upstate NY North Greenbush after winning the heavy weight title. Hes a great guy and he and his family our in all our prayers tonight. Shes gonna make it though because this baby girls got the breading of a Champion. God bless Mike and his baby girl and give them the power to overcome this.

67. I am the mother of a four year old girl and this story just breaks my heart. This kind of accident can happen so quickly. I will keep this family in my thoughts and pray for a miracle for this little one.

68. That house is not a big house. In that neighborhood in Phoenix it is just a regular everyday house, regular neighboorhood, I know the house type as I have lived in that part of town, this was not some big fancy gym room that one may imagine Mike Tyson to have. Realistically, it was a small room or livingroom with the treadmill and Mom was just being Mom in the house cleaning up not far away. It may be her house, not Tysons. Don't blame the mom or anyone. It was an accident. Some of the posts act like the Mom was negligent. It only takes a second for these things to happen and I am sure the Mom is crushed emotionally by this. When I was a kid, I was out and about the house and am lucky to have made it due to curiosty and a need to climb. Dangers lurk everywhere in every house, even the "safe" ones. This one just has a famous father. I think Mike Tyson has changed a whole lot and has grown up so much since his noteable bad days. Today he is just a regular man...with a broken heart praying in the hospital. That is all I know of him. I have prayed for a hedge of protection for his child and family to make it through, no matter the outcome. Say that you love someone tonight...call them now.

69. God forgive all of these folks who have cast judgement on this family as I am sure their lives are perfect and free from ridicule. Just because the Tysons have money, folks think they aren't human and not allowed to make mistakes, even critical ones. God Bless this family and cover them with your love and protection from the enemies that are casting doubt amongst them. Touch the life of this little girl and return her safely to the arms of her loving parents who are torn apart from this horrid accident. Thank You Lord for your devine intervention in this matter and all matters brought forth before you.

73. RE: comment #41 - self-righteous people like you need to keep your negative, hurtful comments to yourself. But the self-righteous never can. Because in reality they are unhappy, unfulfilled, imperfect creatures who are so miserable they must point the finger at someone else; place blame upon someone else. Lest we all take a good look at them and see them for the pitiful souls they truly are. They build themselves up by knocking others down. Sad.
Accidents are just that. An unfortunate, tragic event that could conceiveably happen to any one of us on any given day. Nothing you can say, nothing the law can do to the mother could make her feel any worse than she already does. There is no punishment worse than the hell she is already experiencing.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family affected by this tragedy. May they find the srength to carry on and know peace again one day.

74. I'd say not a whole lot longer then a person with well functioning organs could. Organ failure eventually occurs whether a machine is keeping you alive or not. Even if a machine forces your lungs to inflate, eventually gas exchange rates go down (just as they do in older people). You can't stay alive all that long on a heart/lung machine. The tissue gets worn out, your circulatory system gets worn out, your major organs fail and we can't duplicate things like what your liver does with a machine or drugs.

People with functioning organs can live for quite a while on life support, but nobody gets out alive.
i hope his daughter Exodus has a miracle . i feel horrible for the family and i have always loved Mike tyson. so sorry !

75. thats horrible my jaw dropped wen i read this. the're in my prayers thank god they found her wen they did. hopefully with gods grace she makes it. only god knoes how long she was choking. M question is how did she get caught up in it like that? Praing for you mike !
