Mel Gibson was on "The Tonight Show" to talk about his two latest projects -- his divorce from wife Robyn, and the pregnancy of his new GF, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva.
While talking to Jay Leno, the conservative Catholic actually took the blame for his split from his wife of 28 years, saying "I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself ... put it here."
His kid with Grigorieva will make 8 for Gibson -- prompting him to call himself "Octo-Mel."

6. Hmmmmmmm......yes "these things happen". But, wow, it is just one of the most typical things he has ever done and I think he should have looked a little longer at this woman's past. She seems to make pregnancy the road to a relationship. Don't parents still warn their children about women like this. Honestly, what a mess. Too bad, because he was in the position to really make a difference on this ole' earth...even with his human errors of the past. But this? I think it puts the poor guy into an altogether different but typical category. I do like his honesty....but ...............

Yea, Mel leaves with a bunch of money....so what. Why does everyone think a boat load of money is what our go around on this earth is all about. Surely every women he would have dated would have know about his monetary value. This woman surely did...and that is what is concerning about her pregnancy with the other actor and her pregnancy with Mel. I like the guy, and have laughed at the folks condemning him....oh, don't they have a lot to look at themselves. But this is truly sad. I am sure a musician, like his new girlfriend has some depth, but we just think the guy could have sorted this out a different way and not gotten caught in the typical trap of "woman sleeps with actor and get's pregnant"....twice and it is very obvious why.

I will always believe, after the woman has two similar situational pregancies with two actors.....that she would do anything to marry money and fame....and this is a typical and costly mistake in every way for Mel. His marriage...was no doubt hurting, but this puts his life....truly in the funk and destroys his credibility....with his church and etc.

15. There were no mistakes or just plain ol' $hit happening. If a woman gets pregnant TODAY, it's because she chose to get pregnant, it didn't "just happen", it hasn't just been happening for years now.
