Mike Tyson's Daughter Dies

Mike Tyson DaughterA rep for the Phoenix Police Department has just released the following statement regarding Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter:

I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.

Paramedics were called to Tyson's Phoenix home at around 10:30 Monday morning when his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by its power cable.

UPDATE: Tyson's family just released this statement:

There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.

I am so sorry for your loss. As a mother of 5 I can only imagine what your family is going thru. My prayers are with you as go thru this difficult time. God will help ypu thru this.

Wait, how does one end up hanging off of a treadmill by it's power cord? Last time I checked, the power cord on a treadmill was level with the ground. The report made it seem like she was hanging off of the treadmill (from the grip rail?) by the power cord. The only scenario I can picture was the treadmill was unplugged and it's cord was somehow wrapped up and around the rail that you grip with your hands. His daughter then somehow manages to get herself up high enough so her head could fit through the loop.. I dunno, this doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

The news of Mike's baby girl is so devastating I've lost a grandbaby too, I know what the family is going through. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and his family. Yes-he's been through alot through the years but losing a child is heartbreaking. Mike, if you happen to read this, May God protect and keep you. my prayers are with you and your family. God bless you......

Oh my god. How tragic. I heard of the news this morning and I was hoping she would be okay, just four years old and life is already threatening her. and to see this on the top of my screen when I check tmz makes my heart sink. Rest In Peace and my thoughts truly go out to Mike Tyson and his family at such an unfortunate and heart breaking time
