Only one of them is about to be probed by the Republican party.

American Patriot!

This is indeed a travesty for our country! A hoodrat Puerto Rican woman who can barely read English and she is to sit on The Supreme Court?? We should all e-mail our congress man/woman and tell them if they want to be re-elected they will not vote for this illegal alien. Why didn't he nominate J-LO instead she is just as ridiculous as this woman.

President Obama will nominate Judge Sonia Sotomayor
If confirmed by the Democratic-controlled Senate, Judge Sotomayor, 54, would replace Justice David H. Souter to become the second woman on the court and only the third female justice in the history of the Supreme Court. She also would be the first Hispanic justice to serve on the Supreme Court.

She won't be confirmed so I'm not too worried about it. He could have chosen a far more able choice than a Puerto Rican though. She is not the best woman for the job, I'm sorry, but it's true. America is truly going down the tubes with this sort of choice.

I, too, grew up in the Bronx in a housing project. Two of my sisters attended Cardinal Spellman H.S. just like Justice Sotomayor. Yes, she has been married, but is now divorced. She is an inspiration; she pulled herself up by her bootstraps (her father died when she was young, and she was raised by her mom), attended Princeton U and then Yale Law. She is a diabetic, a proud, strong woman born in Puerto Rico (which is part of the U.S.) and raised in NYC.

I am filled with pride at the nomination of this outstanding jurist.

She's already on record as saying she wont be sitting around thinking about things as a white man would...but as a mexican woman would...

thanks a lot....I thought justice was blind to race and sex..apparently at the highest levels it is not.

I sense a Revolution coming in a few years the way this thing is going. Time to reel things in back to Family Values and Love of Country.

We cant afford to feed and house and medicate more Mexicans that come here illegally.

god help you all

TMZ, that wasn't very original, funny or even ironic in any way....seriously was that the best you could do? Editors "Come on guys we need to mention the SC nominee" Editors yell out into office area--- "Anyone know of any hispanic women with shoulder length hair" Office response: "yeah Elizabeth Pena on La Bamba" Response...lets run with it.....FAIL
