It's the first time Chris Brown has addressed the Rihanna situation publicly -- and in person -- telling his fans on a YouTube video, "I am not a monster."

19. Perhaps you're not a monster as you suggest Mr. Brown but smacking a woman around the way you did at best makes you monster like, would you not agree Brown? If your girlfriend whom you battered has no problem with it and law enforcement is unable to do their job because of her unwilling to follow through, then yes it now seems the only thing left for you to do is now convince John Doe public. A monster is not always what's seen on the outside but often what can't be seen on the inside. In your case Brown, we've seen both. Move on, America isn't loosing any sleep over where your hand(s) end up next.

Chris Brown beat a woman and this is the only public event chances are he beat other women and he will keep doing it...All I heard was haters love to fans blah blah album blah blah oh yeah & Im not a monster..I used to enjoy his music now I won't listen to him ever!
