57. You people are so incredibly stupid, it's no wonder the country has been a mess for the past 50 years. You can't FORCE gay marriage! A "marriage", in just about every religion I can think of, is about 2 people, making a covenant with God and with one another & they are to live happily & PROCREATE with the blessing of God...that's what a marriage is. The Judeo/Christian/Muslim God (which 97% of people in America supposedly believe in) says that is the only recognizable union between 2 people in the covenant of marriage to that deity. So, that means in order for 10% of the American population to have its way, my First Right has to be violated? Get real, people...& let's get to the TRUTH as to why people now-a-days think gay marriage is ok...

Because people think "divorce" is ok...that's why...they think getting married is all about the big white dress, the big bachelor party, or boozing afterwards or the honeymoon following, or whatever it is that's YOUR BIG DREAM DAY...it's not...it doesn't have to be "perfect"...nothing in life is...if you have that expectation of your wedding day, your marriage is doomed from the beginning. People get divorced because one or both partners can't get over themselves & swallow some pride on occassion. We all want it to be OUR WAY all the time & when it's not or something goes wrong, we blame everyone else instead of looking to fix whats wrong with us. We look to society to tell us what's acceptable & ok because we, ourselves, have no conscience or common sense anymore...we've completely lost our innocense & sense of duty, & sense of self. We've turned into a bunch of whiney, immoral guttersnipes who can't overcome a single challenge with dignity, grace, or decency.
