Ashford & Simpson have been married since 1974.
Ashford appeared in the 1991 film "New Jack City."

32. Pease people, this couple is strong and stands strong. Married for 35 years and still together that is truely a blessing from the Creator. Now a days people last that long. I love their music and will buy anything that they put out on the market. For them to be the age that is said I must say that they are beautiful and looks better than some people that are twenty years old today. Stop hating and give this beautiful intelligent couple their props. Looks isn't everything. It's what your have on the dome that counts and they have composed records for numerous other artists that had number one record hits.Their music is beautiful and so are they. They are in the money,can you say that for yourselves? Ease up off of this couple and try to measure up to their standard. I heard nothing negative about either of them. Jealousy is a b-t-h.Reflect on your path and try to measure up to their's. Get a life people. Congratulations Nick and Val. I am waiting for another hit to buy. I am truely a fan of yours. 33. I can't believe some of you people. When you get to be 62 or 67 years old, post your photos on the internet so people can see how you have aged. Ashford and Simpson look marvelous. There songs did not suck. Solid has always been my favorite song. They also wrote huge hits for other artists. They have proven their talent. What is yours?
