Mike Vick's Home Confinement -- One Lucky Dog

With the sun poking gently through the clouds, a calm lake glistening in the background, and majestic trees swaying in the breeze, Michael Vick is somehow finding a way to ride out his nightmarish "home confinement" sentence at his sprawling Virginia estate.

Michael Vick -- launch photos

TMZ obtained several photos of Vick -- who was found guilty of charges related to brutally slaughtering innocent dogs in 2007 -- enjoying a Memorial Day weekend BBQ in his personal waterfront detention center. Among the festivities, the ankle-bracelet sportin' prisoner found time to steal a sunset smooch with one of his baby mamas.

Vick still has to serve two more months of this hell. At least he gets conjugal visits...

17. He paid his dues for a crime he did not commit. Let him go on. It taught him alesson about hanging with the homeboys who were the first to turn him in and were rewarded for snitching. One actually served no time. It is time for PETA that kills dogs in what they say is a compassionate act, to back off. Mike will be okay and the hyperventilating posters on this site will continue to take their blood pressure pills each time they see Mike Vick trying to restart his life. I really wish he would ignore the NFL. Some of this is revenge for the time he gave the Atlanta fans the finger. Serving time for a twist of the finger prtrayed as abuse of dogs is the real story. Glad Mike will never get any of your comments.

18. What Michael Vick was heinous. He served his time, and is still doing penance as dictated by the courts. I think it is time for the media to leave him alone, and let him continue his rehabilitation uncomplicated by the pressure of it. Give him the chance he deserves after doing his time.

21. The man did a year and half in prison and lost a lucrative career in the NFL for FINANCING a torturous, murderous DOG ring. TMZ-the sarcastic mocking at this point is just overkill, he's paid his debt. And to all you PETA types, get a effing life, they were DOGS! If someone came up to you with a gun and said "your kid or your dog" you know what you're response would be and there in lies the difference between humans and animals.

24. ironic you are right, if someone said to me "your dog or your kid' but no one said that to Mr Vicks and as for the problems he now has,he brought every one of them on himself. The point is that he made the choice to do what he did for financial gain and "sport" but these dogs are not given the choice.

26. yea ironic, you are right, if someone said to me "your dog or your kid" then the choice is obvious. But no one said this to Mr Vicks. All of the problems he has now and will have in the future are because of the choice he made and if people are harrassing him and he is bankrupt who should he blame, the dogs?

Just wondering................
