Cali, I am sure that people who are commenting here also have anger towards the many issues you mentioned -- I for one abhor cruelty in all forms toward all living creatures, but the topic happens to be Michael Vick and his crimes against defenseless dogs. I happen to believe there is a personal hell waiting for anyone heartless enough to mistreat an animal as intelligent, loyal, and unconditionally loving as a dog.....in fact, if people were more like dogs, this world would be a better place!!!!

78. Mike vick should still be in jail, he has no conscience, WTF is house arrest, he gets to live in luxury and cant go outside, boo friggin hoo. He should never ever ever play football again. He is a moron. Yeah everyone makes mistakes but KILLING DOGS is pretty sick. Dont give him another dime.

83. people, think. what michael vick did is terrible but we have a god that sits in judgement and he wil take care of michael. it is not for any of us to decide. i can't get as outraged as some of you people because you are just plain idiots. where was your outrage ocver what your grandparents and great grandparents did to black people. you saying dogs lives are more important than humans, but that dosen't suprise me because like i said you are IDIOTS. as for the comments about his children that really tells me what kind of idiots you really are. michael vick has served his time and he dosen't own any of you animal lovers a damn thing so just get over it. also remember you may have kids or will have kids, and you pray that they would never do anything like this, but say they did, would you then be so jugemental. i think not.

84. .............Randy @ 11:50 am..........It is interesting you used the word, "despicable"........You see, 75% of the people think that word apply's to Vick............Yes, he served the time given him........However, he could have been given a much longer sentence............The range of time runs up to 5 years for animal cruelty............Gerald Poindexter, the DA in Virginia elected to give Vick a suspended sentence, because Va. carries an automatic 5 years.........By suspending the sentence, Poindexter eliminated any state time at all..........Vick's 23 months was the light end of what he could have received........Vick could have received time for more items, such as the pension fund misuse........There are Vick supporters who want him to play football..........There are Vick detractors who want him to just go away for ever.........Vick's lifestyle draws fire from many people..........The gambling and the drugs are an infraction within the NFL contract and remains to be seen what Goodell is going to do.......The moral infractions such as infecting three women and having three children and no marriage draws fire from some people.........The inhumane killing of dogs draws fire from some people.........The irresponsible making obscene gestures at the fans draws fire from some people.............The manner in which Vick lied to everyone, the NFL, the sponsors, the fans, the team members, draws fire from some people...............Vick was involved in the dog fighting for 4 years before the Falcons and 6 years during the Falcons...........One time is a mistake, years is the real person............Some people feel that, "serving" the time does not, "fully" mean anything........Vick had no choice but to participate in the time issued...............Now, you get down to the present.........Vick wasted everything..........His mental capability is lacking at best......He only did two years in college because he wanted to go to the NFL........He never thought any further than today.........So, what do you do with someone like that?..................Some will cheer him and some will hound him forever.......My vote is for him to go away........No NFL.....No fame or fortune..........Most of society just can't stomach the killing of dogs like that.............And it is not the so called, "animal activist"........It is the general public that don't want the sum total of what Vick is..............They consider Vick to be, "despicable".........
