Lambert Punks Aiken -- You're a Nobody!

Adam Lambert and Clay AikenHe may wear guy-liner, but Adam Lambert ain't no punk bitch -- dude finally fired back at Clay Aiken over that negative web-rant last week.

The new "A.I." runner up blasted the old "A.I." runner up in an interview with Access Hollywood yesterday, saying "I don't know Clay ... I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

Lambert added, "If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him."

If you recall, Aiken started this cat fight last week, saying he thought his "ears would bleed" when he heard Lambert sing "Ring of Fire." Aiken then tee'd off on how much better "American Idol" used to be when he was on it back in the day.

Aiken later kinda, sorta apologized for his verbal assault ... don't expect the same from Adam.

138. Good job Adam. Clay tried to slam both Kris and Adam in his blog and I know I used to subscribe to Clay. But after that I was so appauled at what Clay said and how he said it I decided he music isnt' that great to listen to or to keep paying for Clay's subscription web site. I like my IDOLs like Adam Lambert. Adam is going to take a stand and not let folks bash him or his friends. Adam said while signing autographs for folks to watch out for Megan Joy, Anoop Desai, Matt G and Allison of course. He said they will be really great. On Itunes it says Adam Lambert also suggests: Allison and Matt G songs. In interview after interview Adam says that Kris Allen is a fabulous musician and that he deserves to win American Idol. This guy is a class act and his music is incredible. I loved his performances, each and every one of them.

143. Get a grip folks.....Although it was not a kind thing to say if the media had not made such a big deal of Mr Aiken's comment then Mr Lambert would have probably shrugged it off. But neither was afforded that luxury because trash sells.

147. Aiken comes off as a washed-up, bitter, beeotchy queen. Having been rebuffed by the Idol powers that be regarding mentoring the current seasons participants, he had no choice but to retreat. The cheap shots he aimed at Lambert were but a feeble attempt to grab the publics attention after having wallowed in obscurity for so long.

148. For the record...I am a 62 year old woman. I would cancel appointments just to stay home and watch AI just to see Adam sing. I have downloaded Mad World, and could listen to it over and over. He has an incredible voice, which cannot be denied. I am not a heavy rock listener, so those tunes may not be my favorites either, but the ones he did...he did brilliantly. I have heard his interviews and comments, and he is always polite, sweet, down to earth, with a very mature attitude on life in general. Especially his life, and I commend him on that. I could care less of his sexual perference, has absolutely nothing to do with his god given voice which is awesome. Finally, I find him sexy and cute as helllllll !!!!!!
All you straight guys should be so cute.......

149. My intentions were to not watch American Idol this year. However one night I turned the channel and Adam Lambert was singing. I watch it every week until the final night. I thought Adam should have won. I think he is ust great. I thought he was gay, but who cares I like his music. He did a great job on "A change is gonna come." I recently read a long article about him in a magazine. I enjoyed the article but not the profanity. I think he should do just fine without winning American Idol.
