Lambert Punks Aiken -- You're a Nobody!

Adam Lambert and Clay AikenHe may wear guy-liner, but Adam Lambert ain't no punk bitch -- dude finally fired back at Clay Aiken over that negative web-rant last week.

The new "A.I." runner up blasted the old "A.I." runner up in an interview with Access Hollywood yesterday, saying "I don't know Clay ... I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

Lambert added, "If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him."

If you recall, Aiken started this cat fight last week, saying he thought his "ears would bleed" when he heard Lambert sing "Ring of Fire." Aiken then tee'd off on how much better "American Idol" used to be when he was on it back in the day.

Aiken later kinda, sorta apologized for his verbal assault ... don't expect the same from Adam.

I think the voting is done and if there was an issue with all the att stuff it will be covered up. It is what it is.I think if both could have won then those two would have been perfect. Two totally perfect sounds...yet very different. I think Clay is just jealous that Adam will have a better career the he or Rueben have had.

23. It's about time Adam said something. That Aiken comment was petty, childish and came off as so jealous. Adam should have really given it back but he choose to with hold a bit. Aiken does not seem to realize that a lot of Adam fans WERE Aiken fans. I say were because there is an outrage among them. I can not understand how Aiken can not see how petty and jealous he sounded. At this point Aiken has only two options. 1) Keep his mouth shut and let it go or 2) Apologize for real this time. Not this half hearted one where he also slammed Lambert fans. He should say he was unfair judging him based on 1 minute of listening to a song. He now reviewed tha collection and finds him to be a gifted singer. Aiken is going to lose this battle if he doesn't get it right. Lamberts fan base and huge and passionate. Don't dig your own grave Aiken. Smarten up!!

24. Wow, the bigots are out early this morning. Adam is right; a lot of people are riding his shirttails, including Kris. Adam has never complained about the Idol results. I have and I will continue to do so. What is obvious is that AT&T has a conflict of interest between a fair Idol vote and one that is the most profitable for them. Every method of enhancing votes is supposed to be against the rules, and obviously millions of votes were not thrown out. Idol had enough discretion within the rules to throw the enhanced votes out and they did not. What went down in Arkansas will be known to all.

30. I don't think Adam said that Clay Aiken was a NOBODY. Adam was trying to be funny and sarcastic in a sense. I mean Clay was getting headlines because Clay was bashing Adam. From a fellow gay man, that's not appreciated.
