Lambert Punks Aiken -- You're a Nobody!

Adam Lambert and Clay AikenHe may wear guy-liner, but Adam Lambert ain't no punk bitch -- dude finally fired back at Clay Aiken over that negative web-rant last week.

The new "A.I." runner up blasted the old "A.I." runner up in an interview with Access Hollywood yesterday, saying "I don't know Clay ... I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

Lambert added, "If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him."

If you recall, Aiken started this cat fight last week, saying he thought his "ears would bleed" when he heard Lambert sing "Ring of Fire." Aiken then tee'd off on how much better "American Idol" used to be when he was on it back in the day.

Aiken later kinda, sorta apologized for his verbal assault ... don't expect the same from Adam.

31. Ummm, you got that a bit wrong. Adam said 'I'm glad I could help him out with that', NOT the coattails thing...I actually heard him. He's a little more subtle about his digs than you give him credit for.
And yeah, Clay's a tool - the only headline he's has recently is for getting himself a baby.

Get real. Some don't like Adam's style and singing voice. Period. It's allowed...even by a fellow entertainer. Aiken has taken a lot of slings over his six years in the public eye and I imagine he can take a this as well. When Adam has a coattail of some kind of size to hang on maybe that portion of his comment will be valid. As to the poster who said she's sure he said it in a nice way..try watching it before ya speak. It was catty and rude. I'd say they're even. But honestly, in the catty arena, I think Aiken could taken him out. That dude is wicked. Pun intended. Heh.

Clay Aiken made vile, personal comments about Adam Lambert - I'm not even a fan of Lambert's but Aiken's remarks smacked of jealousy and resentment that there was a new kid in town getting all the attention. Even Aiken's clumsy apology dug himself in deeper. All Lambert did was make a witty remark back (when asked in an interview - he didn't raise the subject himself) that was mildly cutting. Aiken deserved much worse than this. Adam Lambert has probably had to put up with so much cr*p all his life and more so now he's in the public eye. Good for him, for showing the haters he's no pushover.
