36. Any idiot can see that this has been Photo-shopped! Those are not shopping bags from those stores, they are clothing TAGS from the stores. And the black straps are so obviously placed over the original photo. Leave him alone! That whole family is under tremendous stress, and what started as way to help finance bringing up a large family, has turned into a media monster. Sure Jon and Kate have made mistakes, but so does every other married couple. Fame can be like a cancer that eats away at your best intentions. My hope is that the children are protected from psychological harm. They deserve a happy childhood!

42. Oh but I thought poor old Jon was on a $5 allowance? Yet he can purchase sports cars and expensive purses the little woman he is. I agree with Annie. Jon was/is too immature to handle being a father and has made it clear on numerous occasions he is less than thrilled to be taking care of those children. He just wants to be a care free man living his life drinking in bars etc. For an alleged christian man with a wife and 8 children he sure does act carefree and reckless. I'm tired of this Jon pity party. He is a GROWN MAN who can talk to his wife about their problems instead of carrying on like a child and rebelling. I know you have 8 children but this is the REAL WORLD you can't just run away from your responsibilities and your problems. No one talks about Kate being home alone raising those children while he worked and only took care of them a few hours a night or him losing every job he's ever had and lying to Kate about it. Who wouldn't be a b!tch with a husband like that? You are trying anything to feed your children while your husband can't keep a job and doesn't know how to take care of his own children. The man is functionally retarded and lazy - he has now made it clear all he wants to do is go out with only female "friends" it seems and DRINK! Yet somehow still keep the show money rolling in. Could you imagine if it were the other way around? And Kate was out at bars 2am in the morning with another man? The media would SLAUGHTER her even more so than now. Yet all the care about is her looks which has nothing to do with her as a mother. It's really out of hand for him it's OK but her doing book tours to gain money for her family is wrong. Yeah OK what twisted logic that is.

44. so in response to nicole's comments....if the scenario was flipped around and Jon was the one slapping kate, calling her names, publicly humiliating her in public on a continuous basis, calling her fat, telling her she needs hairplugs, and constantly cuts her off in conversations....how than would society deem Jon to be??!! the man clearly was pushed to the edge with her antics and absolute disrespect for him as a man/husband, that he had enough and refused to put up with her. i dont blame him in the least bit for deciding to find attention that he desparately needs else where, maybe now kate will realize she needs to come down from outer space and act like a decent human being to him and to her children....
Jon is an amazing father to his kids, and yes, their lives are broadcast live for millions to snoop into, but if not for the cameras, would you not agree that many other couples deal with the same issues? dont look down on him just because their lives happen to be an open book for all to view....

It seems the positives these people have done and continue to do for the babes have been removed from the scene all together...the pair have always had educational trips,and scenarios for their kids to see and learn...theyve been always clean and looked after...the kids are no doubt the apples of their parents eyes...
The family is just learning what fame and fortune can do to a person or family& and are guilty of enjoying their lifes and doing what they want to do....
Time to say enough of the battle against them - time for meddling relatives and back stabbing friends to get the lonesome time away from this family...and allow this family to once more work together to get through these times as any other person or family going through strife would.....Jeepers
