It was shades of Shaq last night at the MTV Movie Awards, when Sacha Baron Cohen gave Eminem a taste of "Bruno." The question -- was Eminem genuinely pissed or was it choreographed like a Britney concert?

32. Yeah SBC falling thats fake, Em's reaction real. and the reason for the fists i think is cause they're all rich and they know that the guy will sue them if they kick his ass. And yeah its em's time to get made fun of on tv but not like that. Thats not even making fun of him, thats more of just pissing him off by putting a f.. on top of him. All in all thats just MTV trying to boost theyre ratings and trying to get more hits on their site by pulling a stupid stunt like that.

33. SBC falling on Em is fake, Em's reaction is real. As for the fists not flying thats simple. All of them are rich and they know that they will get sued for kicking that guys ass. And yeah i agree, Eminem should be made fun of on tv like everyone BUT, thats not even the case here, thats just MTV trying to piss him off, that wasnt even a joke they could have done it in another way, it was uncalled for. All in all that's just MTV in a low blow trying to boost they're ratings, get more hits on their site(by people going to it to see what happened) and trying to make a "VMA moment" when in the end it was just....gay.

36. First of all, I'm NOT an Eminem Fan.
I think Eminem should request that the local district attorney file criminal charges for assault and battery, or possibly file charges against Cohen for criminal sexual assault.
Cohen planned to land on Eminem (and probably had arranged the "joke" with producers), but Eminem was not in on the joke. You can see that Eminem was really upset.
Not only was that a clear case of assault and battery, but it was especially egregious because Cohen was probably aware that Mathers had just gotten out of rehab and therefore Cohen was probably aware or should have been aware of his stunt's potential repercussion's on Mather's frail state.
Harvey Lavine, as an attorney and a journalist, it would have been more honorable if you had called attention to the potential criminal element of this stunt. By reporting this as "Is it real, or is it a gag?" it distracts from the fact that something serious has occurred here. Verbal harassment and physical harassment are very different, and flippantly framing this event is the equivalent of those who laugh at people who are the victims of joking physical harassment.

40. It sure looks planned, but not with Eminem, and if that's the case I think Eminem owes Sacha Baron Cohen a beatdown. That is fricking ridiculous, putting your bare ass and crotch in the face of an unsuspecting stranger. I'm really impressed with the way Eminem behaved: Classy!

45. It's obvious that m&m was in on this. He's had plenty of experience with taint in his face so this wasn't a stretch for him at all. I'm sure that he and SBC were 69ing in a hotel suite shortly after this occurred.
