22. They are lucky they got anything, My father was killed June 3, 1985 by a woman who was not wearing her glasses, she had nothing, therefore, we got nothing. Her insurance paid a SMALL price to us. But my mother still had to raise a 12 & 15 year old minus 1 paycheck.

23. The out come of this ACCIDENT was that Brandy was not at fault. This was a multi car accident and Brandy was not the first car involved and no drugs or alcohol was found to play a role. So why is this guy suing her for $$? He should get nothing from her.. if she wasn't a celeb he wouldn't be after her for millions. Go back and read the articles from the LATimes on this whole story before you judge.

26. LA...not saying I wouldnt feel hurt and angry if it were my Mother, but to sue over an accident? And a month later no less...? Her body wasn't even cold yet and they were jumping to sue....because of who it was, not how it happened. These people are thinking of getting rich quick, not their Mother, Daughter, Wife.... just Money!

I think it was admirable of Brandy to give the kids what she did. She didn't have to. And I hope she fights the Husband tooth and nail. No jury will award him anything based on an accident that was NOT her fault.

28. For some of you that say she is a murderer for this accident then yall dumb. There are many accidents that happen everyday a people die. Just because Brandy is famous doesn't make her a murderer. Why is it that every time a famous person gets in trouble the public always make a big deal about it? But when a no body gets in trouble were like oh another person did something wrong then we move on. Famous people are humans to they make mistakes. And i agree with a comment on here if Brandy was not famous or if this family was hit by a non famous person then more than likely they wouldn't see a dime. 1.2 million that is a lot and the dad rejected it. Stupid!! I don't even think he should even get that much. Why won't people just let celebs live there life like the rest of us?

30. I can't seem to figure out why everyone is faulting Brandy for this accident. Truthfully speaking, she doesn't have to hand over any type of money but is doing it as a nice gesture. There weren't and charges against her, nor was she smoking/drinking/ on the cell phone when the accident occurred. I do truly feel sorry for the children and Brandy both. I could only imagine how I would be feeling if I were involved in this type of accident. Hope everything works out for Brandy, she seems nice.
